# 帖前-1Th 2 ## 帖前2:1 弟兄们，你们自己原晓得我们进到你们那里，并不是徒然的。 1Th 2:1 “For you yourselves know, brothers, that our coming to you was not in vain.” ## 帖前2:2 我们从前在腓立比被害受辱，这是你们知道的；然而还是靠我们的神放开胆量，在大争战中把神的福音传给你们。 1Th 2:2 “But though we had already suffered and been shamefully treated at Philippi, as you know, we had boldness in our God to declare to you the gospel of God in the midst of much conflict.” ## 帖前2:3 我们的劝勉不是出于错误，不是出于污秽，也不是用诡诈； 1Th 2:3 “For our appeal does not spring from error or impurity or any attempt to deceive,” ## 帖前2:4 但神既然验中了我们，把福音托付我们，我们就照样讲，不是要讨人喜欢，乃是要讨那察验我们心的神喜欢。 1Th 2:4 “but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please man, but to please God who tests our hearts.” ## 帖前2:5 因为我们从来没有用过谄媚的话，这是你们知道的；也没有藏着贪心，这是神可以作见证的。 1Th 2:5 “For we never came with words of flattery, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed—God is witness.” ## 帖前2:6 我们作基督的使徒，虽然可以叫人尊重，却没有向你们或向别人求荣耀， 1Th 2:6 “Nor did we seek glory from people, whether from you or from others, though we could have made demands as apostles of Christ.” ## 帖前2:7 只在你们中间存心温柔，如同母亲乳养自己的孩子。 1Th 2:7 “But we were gentle among you, like a nursing mother taking care of her own children.” ## 帖前2:8 我们既是这样爱你们，不但愿意将神的福音给你们，连自己的性命也愿意给你们，因你们是我们所疼爱的。 1Th 2:8 “So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.” ## 帖前2:9 弟兄们，你们记念我们的辛苦劳碌，昼夜作工，传神的福音给你们，免得叫你们一人受累。 1Th 2:9 “For you remember, brothers, our labor and toil: we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, while we proclaimed to you the gospel of God.” ## 帖前2:10 我们向你们信主的人，是何等圣洁、公义、无可指摘，有你们作见证，也有神作见证。 1Th 2:10 “You are witnesses, and God also, how holy and righteous and blameless was our conduct toward you believers.” ## 帖前2:11 你们也晓得我们怎样劝勉你们，安慰你们，嘱咐你们各人，好象父亲待自己的儿女一样； 1Th 2:11 “For you know how, like a father with his children,” ## 帖前2:12 要叫你们行事对得起那召你们进他国、得他荣耀的神。 1Th 2:12 “we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.” ## 帖前2:13 为此，我们也不住地感谢神，因你们听见我们所传神的道，就领受了；不以为是人的道，乃以为是神的道。这道实在是神的，并且运行在你们信主的人心中。 1Th 2:13 “And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.” ## 帖前2:14 弟兄们，你们曾效法犹太中，在基督耶稣里神的各教会；因为你们也受了本地人的苦害，象他们受了犹太人的苦害一样。 1Th 2:14 “For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea. For you suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they did from the Jews,” ## 帖前2:15 这犹太人杀了主耶稣和先知，又把我们赶出去。他们不得神的喜悦，且与众人为敌； 1Th 2:15 “who killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out, and displease God and oppose all mankind” ## 帖前2:16 不许我们传道给外邦人使外邦人得救，常常充满自己的罪恶。神的忿怒临在他们身上，已经到了极处。 1Th 2:16 by hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles that they might be saved—so as always to fill up the measure of their sins. But God’s wrath has come upon them at last! ## 帖前2:17 弟兄们，我们暂时与你们离别，是面目离别，心里却不离别；我们极力地想法子，很愿意见你们的面。 1Th 2:17 “But since we were torn away from you, brothers, for a short time, in person not in heart, we endeavored the more eagerly and with great desire to see you face to face,” ## 帖前2:18 所以我们有意到你们那里，我保罗有一两次要去，只是撒但阻挡了我们。 1Th 2:18 “because we wanted to come to you—I, Paul, again and again—but Satan hindered us.” ## 帖前2:19 我们的盼望和喜乐并所夸的冠冕是什么呢？岂不是我们主耶稣来的时候，你们在他面前站立得住吗？ 1Th 2:19 For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting before our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you? ## 帖前2:20 因为你们就是我们的荣耀，我们的喜乐。 1Th 2:20 For you are our glory and joy.
