# 徒-Act 12 ## 徒12:1 那时，希律王下手苦害教会中几个人， Act 12:1 About that time Herod the king laid violent hands on some who belonged to the church. ## 徒12:2 用刀杀了约翰的哥哥雅各。 Act 12:2 “He killed James the brother of John with the sword,” ## 徒12:3 他见犹太人喜欢这事，又去捉拿彼得。那时正是除酵的日子。 Act 12:3 “and when he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to arrest Peter also. This was during the days of Unleavened Bread.” ## 徒12:4 希律拿了彼得，收在监里，交付四班兵丁看守，每班四个人，意思要在逾越节后把他提出来，当着百姓办他。 Act 12:4 “And when he had seized him, he put him in prison, delivering him over to four squads of soldiers to guard him, intending after the Passover to bring him out to the people.” ## 徒12:5 于是彼得被囚在监里；教会却为他切切地祷告神。 Act 12:5 “So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church.” ## 徒12:6 希律将要提他出来的前一夜，彼得被两条铁链锁着，睡在两个兵丁当中。看守的人也在门外看守。 Act 12:6 “Now when Herod was about to bring him out, on that very night, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries before the door were guarding the prison.” ## 徒12:7 忽然有主的一个使者站在旁边，屋里有光照耀，天使拍彼得的肋旁，拍醒了他，说：“快快起来。”那铁链就从他手上脱落下来。 Act 12:7 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands.” ## 徒12:8 天使对他说：“束上带子，穿上鞋。”他就那样作。天使又说：“披上外衣，跟着我来。” Act 12:8 “And the angel said to him, “Dress yourself and put on your sandals.” And he did so. And he said to him, “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me.” ## 徒12:9 彼得就出来跟着他，不知道天使所作是真的，只当见了异象。 Act 12:9 “And he went out and followed him. He did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.” ## 徒12:10 过了第一层第二层监牢，就来到临街的铁门，那门自己开了。他们出来，走过一条街，天使便离开他去了。 Act 12:10 “When they had passed the first and the second guard, they came to the iron gate leading into the city. It opened for them of its own accord, and they went out and went along one street, and immediately the angel left him.” ## 徒12:11 彼得醒悟过来，说：“我现在真知道主差遣他的使者，救我脱离希律的手，和犹太百姓一切所盼望的。” Act 12:11 “When Peter came to himself, he said, “Now I am sure that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.” ## 徒12:12 想了一想，就往那称呼马可的约翰他母亲马利亚家去，在那里有好些人聚集祷告。 Act 12:12 “When he realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose other name was Mark, where many were gathered together and were praying.” ## 徒12:13 彼得敲外门，有一个使女，名叫罗大，出来探听； Act 12:13 “And when he knocked at the door of the gateway, a servant girl named Rhoda came to answer.” ## 徒12:14 听得是彼得的声音，就欢喜的顾不得开门，跑进去告诉众人说：“彼得站在门外。” Act 12:14 “Recognizing Peter’s voice, in her joy she did not open the gate but ran in and reported that Peter was standing at the gate.” ## 徒12:15 他们说：“你是疯了。”使女极力地说：“真是他。”他们说：“必是他的天使。” Act 12:15 “They said to her, “You are out of your mind.” But she kept insisting that it was so, and they kept saying, “It is his angel!” ## 徒12:16 彼得不住地敲门。他们开了门，看见他，就甚惊奇。 Act 12:16 “But Peter continued knocking, and when they opened, they saw him and were amazed.” ## 徒12:17 彼得摆手，不要他们作声，就告诉他们主怎样领他出监；又说：“你们把这事告诉雅各和众弟兄。”于是出去，往别处去了。 Act 12:17 “But motioning to them with his hand to be silent, he described to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, “Tell these things to James and to the brothers.” Then he departed and went to another place.” ## 徒12:18 到了天亮，兵丁扰乱得很，不知道彼得往哪里去了。 Act 12:18 “Now when day came, there was no little disturbance among the soldiers over what had become of Peter.” ## 徒12:19 希律找他，找不着，就审问看守的人，吩咐把他们拉去杀了。后来希律离开犹太，下该撒利亚去，住在那里。 Act 12:19 “And after Herod searched for him and did not find him, he examined the sentries and ordered that they should be put to death. Then he went down from Judea to Caesarea and spent time there.” ## 徒12:20 希律恼怒推罗、西顿的人。他们那一带地方，是从王的地土得粮，因此就托了王的内侍臣伯拉斯都的情，一心来求和。 Act 12:20 “Now Herod was angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon, and they came to him with one accord, and having persuaded Blastus, the king’s chamberlain, they asked for peace, because their country depended on the king’s country for food.” ## 徒12:21 希律在所定的日子，穿上朝服，坐在位上，对他们讲论一番。 Act 12:21 “On an appointed day Herod put on his royal robes, took his seat upon the throne, and delivered an oration to them.” ## 徒12:22 百姓喊着说：“这是神的声音，不是人的声音。” Act 12:22 “And the people were shouting, “The voice of a god, and not of a man!” ## 徒12:23 希律不归荣耀给神，所以主的使者立刻罚他，他被虫所咬，气就绝了。 Act 12:23 “Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him down, because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last.” ## 徒12:24 神的道日见兴旺，越发广传。 Act 12:24 But the word of God increased and multiplied. ## 徒12:25 巴拿巴和扫罗办完了他们供给的事，就从耶路撒冷回来，带着称呼马可的约翰同去。 Act 12:25 “And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem when they had completed their service, bringing with them John, whose other name was Mark.”
