# 约-Joh 8 ## 约8:1 于是各人都回家去了；耶稣却往橄榄山去， Joh 8:1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. ## 约8:2 清早又回到殿里。众百姓都到他那里去，他就坐下，教训他们。 Joh 8:2 “Early in the morning he came again to the temple. All the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them.” ## 约8:3 文士和法利赛人，带着一个行淫时被拿的妇人来，叫她站在当中， Joh 8:3 “The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst” ## 约8:4 就对耶稣说：“夫子，这妇人是正行淫之时被拿的。 Joh 8:4 “they said to him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery.” ## 约8:5 摩西在律法上吩咐我们，把这样的妇人用石头打死。你说该把她怎么样呢？” Joh 8:5 “Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?” ## 约8:6 他们说这话，乃试探耶稣，要得着告他的把柄。耶稣却弯着腰，用指头在地上画字。 Joh 8:6 This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground.” ## 约8:7 他们还是不住地问他，耶稣就直起腰来，对他们说：“你们中间谁是没有罪的，谁就可以先拿石头打她。” Joh 8:7 And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” ## 约8:8 于是又弯着腰，用指头在地上画字。 Joh 8:8 And once more he bent down and wrote on the ground. ## 约8:9 他们听见这话，就从老到少，一个一个地都出去了，只剩下耶稣一人，还有那妇人仍然站在当中。 Joh 8:9 “But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him.” ## 约8:10 耶稣就直起腰来，对她说：“妇人，那些人在哪里呢？没有人定你的罪吗？” Joh 8:10 “Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” ## 约8:11 她说：“主啊！没有。”耶稣说：“我也不定你的罪。去吧！从此不要再犯罪了。” Joh 8:11 “She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”>\]” ## 约8:12 耶稣又对众人说：“我是世界的光。跟从我的，就不在黑暗里走，必要得着生命的光。” Joh 8:12 “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” ## 约8:13 法利赛人对他说：“你是为自己作见证，你的见证不真。” Joh 8:13 “So the Pharisees said to him, “You are bearing witness about yourself; your testimony is not true.” ## 约8:14 耶稣说：“我虽然为自己作见证，我的见证还是真的，因我知道我从哪里来，往哪里去；你们却不知道我从哪里来，往哪里去。 Joh 8:14 “Jesus answered, “Even if I do bear witness about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.” ## 约8:15 你们是以外貌(原文作“凭肉身”)判断人，我却不判断人， Joh 8:15 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. ## 约8:16 就是判断人，我的判断也是真的，因为不是我独自在这里，还有差我来的父与我同在。 Joh 8:16 “Yet even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for it is not I alone who judge, but I and the Father who sent me.” ## 约8:17 你们的律法上也记着说：‘两个人的见证是真的。’ Joh 8:17 In your Law it is written that the testimony of two people is true. ## 约8:18 我是为自己作见证，还有差我来的父也是为我作见证。” Joh 8:18 “I am the one who bears witness about myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness about me.” ## 约8:19 他们就问他说：“你的父在哪里？”耶稣回答说：“你们不认识我，也不认识我的父；若是认识我，也就认识我的父。” Joh 8:19 “They said to him therefore, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.” ## 约8:20 这些话是耶稣在殿里的库房，教训人时所说的，也没有人拿他，因为他的时候还没有到。 Joh 8:20 “These words he spoke in the treasury, as he taught in the temple; but no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come.” ## 约8:21 耶稣又对他们说：“我要去了，你们要找我，并且你们要死在罪中；我所去的地方，你们不能到。” Joh 8:21 “So he said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come.” ## 约8:22 犹太人说：“他说：‘我所去的地方，你们不能到’,难道他要自尽吗？” Joh 8:22 “So the Jews said, “Will he kill himself, since he says, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come’?” ## 约8:23 耶稣对他们说：“你们是从下头来的，我是从上头来的；你们是属这世界的，我不是属这世界的。 Joh 8:23 “He said to them, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.” ## 约8:24 所以我对你们说，你们要死在罪中，你们若不信我是基督，必要死在罪中。” Joh 8:24 “I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins.” ## 约8:25 他们就问他说：“你是谁？”耶稣对他们说：“就是我从起初所告诉你们的。 Joh 8:25 “So they said to him, “Who are you?” Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been telling you from the beginning.” ## 约8:26 我有许多事讲论你们，判断你们；但那差我来的是真的，我在他那里所听见的，我就传给世人。” Joh 8:26 “I have much to say about you and much to judge, but he who sent me is true, and I declare to the world what I have heard from him.” ## 约8:27 他们不明白耶稣是指着父说的。 Joh 8:27 They did not understand that he had been speaking to them about the Father. ## 约8:28 所以耶稣说：“你们举起人子以后，必知道我是基督，并且知道我没有一件事是凭着自己作的。我说这些话乃是照着父所教训我的。 Joh 8:28 “So Jesus said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me.” ## 约8:29 那差我来的是与我同在；他没有撇下我独自在这里，因为我常作他所喜悦的事。” Joh 8:29 “And he who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.” ## 约8:30 耶稣说这话的时候，就有许多人信他。 Joh 8:30 “As he was saying these things, many believed in him.” ## 约8:31 耶稣对信他的犹太人说：“你们若常常遵守我的道，就真是我的门徒； Joh 8:31 “So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,” ## 约8:32 你们必晓得真理，真理必叫你们得以自由。” Joh 8:32 “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” ## 约8:33 他们回答说：“我们是亚伯拉罕的后裔，从来没有作过谁的奴仆。你怎么说：‘你们必得以自由’呢？” Joh 8:33 “They answered him, “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?” ## 约8:34 耶稣回答说：“我实实在在地告诉你们，所有犯罪的就是罪的奴仆。 Joh 8:34 “Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.” ## 约8:35 奴仆不能永远住在家里，儿子是永远住在家里。 Joh 8:35 The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. ## 约8:36 所以天父的儿子若叫你们自由，你们就真自由了。 Joh 8:36 “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” ## 约8:37 我知道你们是亚伯拉罕的子孙；你们却想要杀我，因为你们心里容不下我的道。 Joh 8:37 I know that you are offspring of Abraham; yet you seek to kill me because my word finds no place in you. ## 约8:38 我所说的是在我父那里看见的；你们所行的，是在你们的父那里听见的。” Joh 8:38 “I speak of what I have seen with my Father, and you do what you have heard from your father.” ## 约8:39 他们说：“我们的父就是亚伯拉罕。”耶稣说：“你们若是亚伯拉罕的儿子，就必行亚伯拉罕所行的事。 Joh 8:39 “They answered him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would be doing the works Abraham did,” ## 约8:40 我将在神那里所听见的真理，告诉了你们，现在你们却想要杀我；这不是亚伯拉罕所行的事。 Joh 8:40 “but now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. This is not what Abraham did.” ## 约8:41 你们是行你们父所行的事。”他们说：“我们不是从淫乱生的，我们只有一位父，就是神。” Joh 8:41 “You are doing the works your father did.” They said to him, “We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father—even God.” ## 约8:42 耶稣说：“倘若神是你们的父，你们就必爱我；因为我本是出于神，也是从神而来，并不是由着自己来，乃是他差我来。 Joh 8:42 “Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me.” ## 约8:43 你们为什么不明白我的话呢？无非是因你们不能听我的道。 Joh 8:43 Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. ## 约8:44 你们是出于你们的父魔鬼，你们父的私欲，你们偏要行。他从起初是杀人的，不守真理，因他心里没有真理，他说谎是出于自己，因他本来是说谎的，也是说谎之人的父。 Joh 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” ## 约8:45 我将真理告诉你们，你们就因此不信我。 Joh 8:45 “But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.” ## 约8:46 你们中间谁能指证我有罪呢？我既然将真理告诉你们，为什么不信我呢？ Joh 8:46 “Which one of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me?” ## 约8:47 出于神的，必听神的话；你们不听，因为你们不是出于神。” Joh 8:47 “Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.” ## 约8:48 犹太人回答说：“我们说你是撒玛利亚人，并且是鬼附着的，这话岂不正对吗？” Joh 8:48 “The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?” ## 约8:49 耶稣说：“我不是鬼附着的；我尊敬我的父，你们倒轻慢我。 Joh 8:49 “Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon, but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me.” ## 约8:50 我不求自己的荣耀，有一位为我求荣耀定是非的。 Joh 8:50 “Yet I do not seek my own glory; there is One who seeks it, and he is the judge.” ## 约8:51 我实实在在地告诉你们，人若遵守我的道，就永远不见死。” Joh 8:51 “Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death.” ## 约8:52 犹太人对他说：“现在我们知道你是鬼附着的。亚伯拉罕死了，众先知也死了，你还说：‘人若遵守我的道，就永远不尝死味。’ Joh 8:52 “The Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon! Abraham died, as did the prophets, yet you say, ‘If anyone keeps my word, he will never taste death.’” ## 约8:53 难道你比我们的祖宗亚伯拉罕还大吗？他死了，众先知也死了，你将自己当作什么人呢？” Joh 8:53 “Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? And the prophets died! Who do you make yourself out to be?” ## 约8:54 耶稣回答说：“我若荣耀自己，我的荣耀就算不得什么；荣耀我的乃是我的父，就是你们所说是你们的神。 Joh 8:54 “Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’” ## 约8:55 你们未曾认识他；我却认识他。我若说不认识他，我就是说谎的，象你们一样；但我认识他，也遵守他的道。 Joh 8:55 “But you have not known him. I know him. If I were to say that I do not know him, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and I keep his word.” ## 约8:56 你们的祖宗亚伯拉罕欢欢喜喜地仰望我的日子；既看见了，就快乐。” Joh 8:56 “Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.” ## 约8:57 犹太人说：“你还没有五十岁，岂见过亚伯拉罕呢？” Joh 8:57 “So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” ## 约8:58 耶稣说：“我实实在在地告诉你们，还没有亚伯拉罕，就有了我。” Joh 8:58 “Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” ## 约8:59 于是他们拿石头要打他；耶稣却躲藏，从殿里出去了。 Joh 8:59 “So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.”
