# 太-Mat 20 ## 太20:1 “因为天国好象家主清早去雇人进他的葡萄园作工； Mat 20:1 For the kingdom of heaven is like a master of a house who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. ## 太20:2 和工人讲定，一天一钱银子，就打发他们进葡萄园去。 Mat 20:2 “After agreeing with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.” ## 太20:3 约在巳初出去，看见市上还有闲站的人， Mat 20:3 “And going out about the third hour he saw others standing idle in the marketplace,” ## 太20:4 就对他们说：‘你们也进葡萄园去，所当给的，我必给你们。’他们也进去了。 Mat 20:4 “and to them he said, ‘You go into the vineyard too, and whatever is right I will give you.’” ## 太20:5 约在午正和申初又出去，也是这样行。 Mat 20:5 “So they went. Going out again about the sixth hour and the ninth hour, he did the same.” ## 太20:6 约在酉初出去，看见还有人站在那里，就问他们说：‘你们为什么整天在这里闲站呢？’ Mat 20:6 “And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing. And he said to them, ‘Why do you stand here idle all day?’” ## 太20:7 他们说：‘因为没有人雇我们。’他说：‘你们也进葡萄园去。’ Mat 20:7 “They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’” ## 太20:8 到了晚上，园主对管事的说：‘叫工人都来，给他们工钱，从后来的起，到先来的为止。 Mat 20:8 “And when evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last, up to the first.’” ## 太20:9 约在酉初雇的人来了，各人得了一钱银子。 Mat 20:9 “And when those hired about the eleventh hour came, each of them received a denarius.” ## 太20:10 及至那先雇的来了，他们以为必要多得；谁知也是各得一钱。 Mat 20:10 “Now when those hired first came, they thought they would receive more, but each of them also received a denarius.” ## 太20:11 他们得了，就埋怨家主说： Mat 20:11 “And on receiving it they grumbled at the master of the house,” ## 太20:12 ‘我们整天劳苦受热，那后来的只做了一小时，你竟叫他们和我们一样吗？’ Mat 20:12 “saying, ‘These last worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.’” ## 太20:13 家主回答其中的一人说：‘朋友，我不亏负你，你与我讲定的，不是一钱银子吗？ Mat 20:13 “But he replied to one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius?” ## 太20:14 拿你的走吧！我给那后来的和给你一样，这是我愿意的。 Mat 20:14 Take what belongs to you and go. I choose to give to this last worker as I give to you. ## 太20:15 我的东西难道不可随我的意思用吗？因为我作好人，你就红了眼吗？’ Mat 20:15 Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity?’ ## 太20:16 这样，那在后的将要在前，在前的将要在后了(有古卷在此有“因为被召的人多，选上的人少。”)。” Mat 20:16 “So the last will be first, and the first last.” ## 太20:17 耶稣上耶路撒冷去的时候，在路上把十二个门徒带到一边，对他们说： Mat 20:17 “And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them,” ## 太20:18 “看哪！我们上耶路撒冷去，人子要被交给祭司长和文士；他们要定他死罪， Mat 20:18 “See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death” ## 太20:19 又交给外邦人，将他戏弄、鞭打、钉在十字架上，第三日他要复活。” Mat 20:19 “and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day.” ## 太20:20 那时，西庇太儿子的母亲，同她两个儿子上前来拜耶稣，求他一件事。 Mat 20:20 “Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came up to him with her sons, and kneeling before him she asked him for something.” ## 太20:21 耶稣说：“你要什么呢？”她说：“愿你叫我这两个儿子在你国里，一个坐在你右边，一个坐在你左边。” Mat 20:21 “And he said to her, “What do you want?” She said to him, “Say that these two sons of mine are to sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom.” ## 太20:22 耶稣回答说：“你们不知道所求的是什么，我将要喝的杯，你们能喝吗？”他们说：“我们能。” Mat 20:22 “Jesus answered, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am to drink?” They said to him, “We are able.” ## 太20:23 耶稣说：“我所喝的杯，你们必要喝；只是坐在我的左右，不是我可以赐的，乃是我父为谁预备的，就赐给谁。” Mat 20:23 “He said to them, “You will drink my cup, but to sit at my right hand and at my left is not mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.” ## 太20:24 那十个门徒听见，就恼怒他们弟兄二人。 Mat 20:24 “And when the ten heard it, they were indignant at the two brothers.” ## 太20:25 耶稣叫了他们来，说：“你们知道外邦人有君王为主治理他们，有大臣操权管束他们。 Mat 20:25 “But Jesus called them to him and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.” ## 太20:26 只是在你们中间，不可这样；你们中间谁愿为大，就必作你们的用人； Mat 20:26 “It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant,” ## 太20:27 谁愿为首，就必作你们的仆人。 Mat 20:27 “and whoever would be first among you must be your slave,” ## 太20:28 正如人子来，不是要受人的服事，乃是要服事人，并且要舍命，作多人的赎价。” Mat 20:28 “even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” ## 太20:29 他们出耶利哥的时候，有极多的人跟随他。 Mat 20:29 “And as they went out of Jericho, a great crowd followed him.” ## 太20:30 有两个瞎子坐在路旁，听说是耶稣经过，就喊着说：“主啊，大卫的子孙，可怜我们吧！” Mat 20:30 “And behold, there were two blind men sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” ## 太20:31 众人责备他们，不许他们作声；他们却越发喊着说：“主啊，大卫的子孙，可怜我们吧！” Mat 20:31 “The crowd rebuked them, telling them to be silent, but they cried out all the more, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!” ## 太20:32 耶稣就站住，叫他们来，说：“要我为你们作什么？” Mat 20:32 “And stopping, Jesus called them and said, “What do you want me to do for you?” ## 太20:33 他们说：“主啊，要我们的眼睛能看见。” Mat 20:33 “They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.” ## 太20:34 耶稣就动了慈心，把他们的眼睛一摸，他们立刻看见，就跟从了耶稣。 Mat 20:34 “And Jesus in pity touched their eyes, and immediately they recovered their sight and followed him.”
