# 太-Mat 14 ## 太14:1 那时，分封的王希律听见耶稣的名声， Mat 14:1 “At that time Herod the tetrarch heard about the fame of Jesus,” ## 太14:2 就对臣仆说：“这是施洗的约翰从死里复活，所以这些异能从他里面发出来。” Mat 14:2 “and he said to his servants, “This is John the Baptist. He has been raised from the dead; that is why these miraculous powers are at work in him.” ## 太14:3 起先希律为他兄弟腓力的妻子希罗底的缘故，把约翰拿住锁在监里。 Mat 14:3 “For Herod had seized John and bound him and put him in prison for the sake of Herodias, his brother Philip’s wife,” ## 太14:4 因为约翰曾对他说：“你娶这妇人是不合理的。” Mat 14:4 “because John had been saying to him, “It is not lawful for you to have her.” ## 太14:5 希律就想要杀他，只是怕百姓；因为他们以约翰为先知。 Mat 14:5 “And though he wanted to put him to death, he feared the people, because they held him to be a prophet.” ## 太14:6 到了希律的生日，希罗底的女儿在众人面前跳舞，使希律欢喜。 Mat 14:6 “But when Herod’s birthday came, the daughter of Herodias danced before the company and pleased Herod,” ## 太14:7 希律就起誓，应许随她所求的给她。 Mat 14:7 so that he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask. ## 太14:8 女儿被母亲所使，就说：“请把施洗约翰的头放在盘子里，拿来给我。” Mat 14:8 “Prompted by her mother, she said, “Give me the head of John the Baptist here on a platter.” ## 太14:9 王便忧愁，但因他所起的誓，又因同席的人，就吩咐给她； Mat 14:9 “And the king was sorry, but because of his oaths and his guests he commanded it to be given.” ## 太14:10 于是打发人去，在监里斩了约翰， Mat 14:10 “He sent and had John beheaded in the prison,” ## 太14:11 把头放在盘子里，拿来给了女子；女子拿去给她母亲。 Mat 14:11 and his head was brought on a platter and given to the girl, and she brought it to her mother.” ## 太14:12 约翰的门徒来，把尸首领去埋葬了，就去告诉耶稣。 Mat 14:12 “And his disciples came and took the body and buried it, and they went and told Jesus.” ## 太14:13 耶稣听见了，就上船从那里独自退到野地里去。众人听见，就从各城里步行跟随他。 Mat 14:13 “Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a desolate place by himself. But when the crowds heard it, they followed him on foot from the towns.” ## 太14:14 耶稣出来，见有许多的人，就怜悯他们，治好了他们的病人。 Mat 14:14 “When he went ashore he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.” ## 太14:15 天将晚的时候，门徒进前来说：“这是野地，时候已经过了，请叫众人散开，他们好往村子里去，自己买吃的。” Mat 14:15 “Now when it was evening, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the day is now over; send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy food for themselves.” ## 太14:16 耶稣说：“不用他们去，你们给他们吃吧！” Mat 14:16 “But Jesus said, “They need not go away; you give them something to eat.” ## 太14:17 门徒说：“我们这里只有五个饼，两条鱼。” Mat 14:17 They said to him, “We have only five loaves here and two fish.” ## 太14:18 耶稣说：“拿过来给我。” Mat 14:18 “And he said, “Bring them here to me.” ## 太14:19 于是吩咐众人坐在草地上，就拿着这五个饼，两条鱼，望着天祝福，掰开饼，递给门徒，门徒又递给众人。 Mat 14:19 “Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.” ## 太14:20 他们都吃，并且吃饱了；把剩下的零碎收拾起来，装满了十二个篮子。 Mat 14:20 And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over. ## 太14:21 吃的人，除了妇女孩子，约有五千。 Mat 14:21 “And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.” ## 太14:22 耶稣随即催门徒上船，先渡到那边去，等他叫众人散开。 Mat 14:22 “Immediately he made the disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds.” ## 太14:23 散了众人以后，他就独自上山去祷告。到了晚上，只有他一人在那里。 Mat 14:23 “And after he had dismissed the crowds, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone,” ## 太14:24 那时船在海中，因风不顺，被浪摇撼。 Mat 14:24 “but the boat by this time was a long way from the land, beaten by the waves, for the wind was against them.” ## 太14:25 夜里四更天，耶稣在海面上走，往门徒那里去。 Mat 14:25 “And in the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea.” ## 太14:26 门徒看见他在海面上走，就惊慌了，说：“是个鬼怪！”便害怕，喊叫起来。 Mat 14:26 “But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” and they cried out in fear.” ## 太14:27 耶稣连忙对他们说：“你们放心！是我，不要怕！” Mat 14:27 “But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.” ## 太14:28 彼得说：“主，如果是你，请叫我从水面上走到你那里去。” Mat 14:28 “And Peter answered him, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” ## 太14:29 耶稣说：“你来吧。”彼得就从船上下去，在水面上走，要到耶稣那里去； Mat 14:29 “He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus.” ## 太14:30 只因见风甚大，就害怕，将要沉下去，便喊着说：“主啊，救我！” Mat 14:30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” ## 太14:31 耶稣赶紧伸手拉住他，说：“你这小信的人哪，为什么疑惑呢？” Mat 14:31 “Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” ## 太14:32 他们上了船，风就住了。 Mat 14:32 “And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased.” ## 太14:33 在船上的人都拜他，说：“你真是神的儿子了。” Mat 14:33 “And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” ## 太14:34 他们过了海，来到革尼撒勒地方。 Mat 14:34 “And when they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret.” ## 太14:35 那里的人一认出是耶稣，就打发人到周围地方去，把所有的病人带到他那里， Mat 14:35 “And when the men of that place recognized him, they sent around to all that region and brought to him all who were sick” ## 太14:36 只求耶稣准他们摸他的衣裳繸子；摸着的人就都好了。 Mat 14:36 and implored him that they might only touch the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched it were made well.
