# 赛-Isa 40 ## 赛40:1 你们的神说:“你们要安慰,安慰我的百姓。 Isa 40:1 “Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.” ## 赛40:2 要对耶路撒冷说安慰的话,又向他宣告说,他争战的日子已满了,他的罪孽赦免了,他为自己的一切罪,从耶和华手中加倍受罚。” Isa 40:2 “Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the LORD’s hand double for all her sins.” ## 赛40:3 有人声喊着说:“在旷野预备耶和华的路(或作“在旷野,有人声喊着说:当预备耶和华的路”);在沙漠地修平我们神的道。 Isa 40:3 “A voice cries: “In the wilderness prepare the way of the LORD; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” ## 赛40:4 一切山洼都要填满,大小山冈都要削平;高高低低的要改为平坦,崎崎岖岖的必成为平原。 Isa 40:4 “Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain.” ## 赛40:5 耶和华的荣耀必然显现,凡有血气的,必一同看见,因为这是耶和华亲口说的。” Isa 40:5 “And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” ## 赛40:6 有人声说:“你喊叫吧!”有一个说:“我喊叫什么呢?”说:“凡有血气的,尽都如草;他的美容,都象野地的花。 Isa 40:6 “A voice says, “Cry!” And I said, “What shall I cry?” All flesh is grass, and all its beauty is like the flower of the field.” ## 赛40:7 草必枯干,花必凋残,因为耶和华的气吹在其上。百姓诚然是草。 Isa 40:7 “The grass withers, the flower fades when the breath of the LORD blows on it; surely the people are grass.” ## 赛40:8 草必枯干,花必凋残,惟有我们神的话,必永远立定。” Isa 40:8 “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” ## 赛40:9 报好信息给锡安的啊!你要登高山;报好信息给耶路撒冷的啊!你要极力扬声。扬声不要惧怕,对犹大的城邑说:“看哪!你们的神。” Isa 40:9 “Get you up to a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good news; lift up your voice with strength, O Jerusalem, herald of good news; lift it up, fear not; say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!” ## 赛40:10 主耶和华必象大能者临到,他的膀臂必为他掌权,他的赏赐在他那里,他的报应在他面前。 Isa 40:10 “Behold, the Lord GOD comes with might, and his arm rules for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.” ## 赛40:11 他必象牧人牧养自己的羊群,用膀臂聚集羊羔抱在怀中,慢慢引导那乳养小羊的。 Isa 40:11 “He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.” ## 赛40:12 谁曾用手心量诸水,用手虎口量苍天;用升斗盛大地的尘土;用秤称山岭,用天平平冈陵呢? Isa 40:12 “Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand and marked off the heavens with a span, enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?” ## 赛40:13 谁曾测度耶和华的心(或作“谁曾指示耶和华的灵”),或作他的谋士指教他呢? Isa 40:13 “Who has measured the Spirit of the LORD, or what man shows him his counsel?” ## 赛40:14 他与谁商议,谁教导他,谁将公平的路指示他,又将知识教训他,将通达的道指教他呢? Isa 40:14 “Whom did he consult, and who made him understand? Who taught him the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding?” ## 赛40:15 看哪!万民都象水桶的一滴,又算如天平上的微尘;他举起众海岛,好象极微之物。 Isa 40:15 “Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket, and are accounted as the dust on the scales; behold, he takes up the coastlands like fine dust.” ## 赛40:16 黎巴嫩的树林不够当柴烧,其中的走兽也不够作燔祭。 Isa 40:16 “Lebanon would not suffice for fuel, nor are its beasts enough for a burnt offering.” ## 赛40:17 万民在他面前好象虚无,被他看为不及虚无,乃为虚空。 Isa 40:17 “All the nations are as nothing before him, they are accounted by him as less than nothing and emptiness.” ## 赛40:18 你们究竟将谁比神,用什么形象与神比较呢? Isa 40:18 “To whom then will you liken God, or what likeness compare with him?” ## 赛40:19 偶像是匠人铸造,银匠用金包裹,为它铸造银链。 Isa 40:19 “An idol! A craftsman casts it, and a goldsmith overlays it with gold and casts for it silver chains.” ## 赛40:20 穷乏献不起这样供物的,就拣选不能朽坏的树木,为自己寻找巧匠,立起不能摇动的偶像。 Isa 40:20 He who is too impoverished for an offering chooses wood that will not rot; he seeks out a skillful craftsman to set up an idol that will not move. ## 赛40:21 你们岂不曾知道吗?你们岂不曾听见吗?从起初岂没有人告诉你们吗?自从立地的根基,你们岂没有明白吗? Isa 40:21 Do you not know? Do you not hear? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth? ## 赛40:22 神坐在地球大圈之上,地上的居民好象蝗虫。他铺张穹苍如幔子;展开诸天如可住的帐棚。 Isa 40:22 “It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in;” ## 赛40:23 他使君王归于虚无;使地上的审判官成为虚空。 Isa 40:23 “who brings princes to nothing, and makes the rulers of the earth as emptiness.” ## 赛40:24 他们是刚才栽上(“刚才”或作“不曾”。下同。),刚才种上,根也刚才扎在地里,他一吹在其上,便都枯干;旋风将他们吹去,象碎秸一样。 Isa 40:24 “Scarcely are they planted, scarcely sown, scarcely has their stem taken root in the earth, when he blows on them, and they wither, and the tempest carries them off like stubble.” ## 赛40:25 那圣者说:“你们将谁比我,叫他与我相等呢?” Isa 40:25 “To whom then will you compare me, that I should be like him? says the Holy One.” ## 赛40:26 你们向上举目,看谁创造这万象?按数目领出,他一一称其名。因他的权能,又因他的大能大力,连一个都不缺。 Isa 40:26 “Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name, by the greatness of his might, and because he is strong in power not one is missing.” ## 赛40:27 雅各啊!你为何说:“我的道路向耶和华隐藏?”以色列啊!你为何言:“我的冤屈神并不查问。” Isa 40:27 “Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the LORD, and my right is disregarded by my God”?” ## 赛40:28 你岂不曾知道吗?你岂不曾听见吗?永在的神耶和华,创造地极的主,并不疲乏,也不困倦;他的智慧无法测度。 Isa 40:28 “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.” ## 赛40:29 疲乏的,他赐能力;软弱的,他加力量; Isa 40:29 “He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.” ## 赛40:30 就是少年人也要疲乏困倦,强壮的也必全然跌倒。 Isa 40:30 “Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;” ## 赛40:31 但那等候耶和华的,必从新得力;他们必如鹰展翅上腾,他们奔跑却不困倦,行走却不疲乏。 Isa 40:31 but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
