# 耶-Jer 37 ## 耶37:1 约西亚的儿子西底家代替约雅敬的儿子哥尼雅为王，是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒立在犹大地作王的。 Jer 37:1 “Zedekiah the son of Josiah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah, reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim.” ## 耶37:2 但西底家和他的臣仆，并国中的百姓，都不听从耶和华藉先知耶利米所说的话。 Jer 37:2 But neither he nor his servants nor the people of the land listened to the words of the LORD that he spoke through Jeremiah the prophet. ## 耶37:3 西底家王打发示利米雅的儿子犹甲和祭司玛西雅的儿子西番雅，去见先知耶利米，说：“求你为我们祷告耶和华我们的神。” Jer 37:3 “King Zedekiah sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the priest, the son of Maaseiah, to Jeremiah the prophet, saying, “Please pray for us to the LORD our God.” ## 耶37:4 那时耶利米在民中出入，因为他们还没有把他囚在监里。 Jer 37:4 “Now Jeremiah was still going in and out among the people, for he had not yet been put in prison.” ## 耶37:5 法老的军队已经从埃及出来，那围困耶路撒冷的迦勒底人，听见他们的风声，就拔营离开耶路撒冷去了。 Jer 37:5 “The army of Pharaoh had come out of Egypt. And when the Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard news about them, they withdrew from Jerusalem.” ## 耶37:6 耶和华的话临到先知耶利米说： Jer 37:6 Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet: ## 耶37:7 “耶和华以色列的神如此说：犹大王打发你们来求问我，你们要如此对他说：‘那出来帮助你们法老的军队，必回埃及本国去。 Jer 37:7 “Thus says the LORD, God of Israel: Thus shall you say to the king of Judah who sent you to me to inquire of me, ‘Behold, Pharaoh’s army that came to help you is about to return to Egypt, to its own land.” ## 耶37:8 迦勒底人必再来，攻打这城，并要攻取，用火焚烧。 Jer 37:8 And the Chaldeans shall come back and fight against this city. They shall capture it and burn it with fire. ## 耶37:9 耶和华如此说：你们不要自欺说，“迦勒底人必定离开我们”；因为他们必不离开。 Jer 37:9 “Thus says the LORD, Do not deceive yourselves, saying, “The Chaldeans will surely go away from us,” for they will not go away.” ## 耶37:10 你们即便杀败了与你们争战的迦勒底全军，但剩下受伤的人，也必各人从帐棚里起来，用火焚烧这城。’” Jer 37:10 “For even if you should defeat the whole army of Chaldeans who are fighting against you, and there remained of them only wounded men, every man in his tent, they would rise up and burn this city with fire.’” ## 耶37:11 迦勒底的军队，因怕法老的军队，拔营离开耶路撒冷的时候， Jer 37:11 “Now when the Chaldean army had withdrawn from Jerusalem at the approach of Pharaoh’s army,” ## 耶37:12 耶利米就杂在民中出离耶路撒冷，要往便雅悯地去，在那里得自己的地业。 Jer 37:12 Jeremiah set out from Jerusalem to go to the land of Benjamin to receive his portion there among the people. ## 耶37:13 他到了便雅悯门那里，有守门官名叫伊利雅，是哈拿尼亚的孙子，示利米雅的儿子，他就拿住先知耶利米，说：“你是投降迦勒底人哪！” Jer 37:13 “When he was at the Benjamin Gate, a sentry there named Irijah the son of Shelemiah, son of Hananiah, seized Jeremiah the prophet, saying, “You are deserting to the Chaldeans.” ## 耶37:14 耶利米说：“你这是谎话，我并不是投降迦勒底人。”伊利雅不听他的话，就拿住他，解到首领那里。 Jer 37:14 “And Jeremiah said, “It is a lie; I am not deserting to the Chaldeans.” But Irijah would not listen to him, and seized Jeremiah and brought him to the officials.” ## 耶37:15 首领恼怒耶利米，就打了他，将他囚在文士约拿单的房屋中；因为他们以这房屋当作监牢。 Jer 37:15 “And the officials were enraged at Jeremiah, and they beat him and imprisoned him in the house of Jonathan the secretary, for it had been made a prison.” ## 耶37:16 耶利米来到狱中，进入牢房，在那里囚了多日。 Jer 37:16 “When Jeremiah had come to the dungeon cells and remained there many days,” ## 耶37:17 西底家王打发人提出他来，在自己的宫内私下问他说：“从耶和华有什么话临到没有？”耶利米说：“有！”又说：“你必交在巴比伦王手中。” Jer 37:17 “King Zedekiah sent for him and received him. The king questioned him secretly in his house and said, “Is there any word from the LORD?” Jeremiah said, “There is.” Then he said, “You shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.” ## 耶37:18 耶利米又对西底家王说：“我在什么事上得罪你，或你的臣仆，或这百姓，你竟将我囚在监里呢？ Jer 37:18 “Jeremiah also said to King Zedekiah, “What wrong have I done to you or your servants or this people, that you have put me in prison?” ## 耶37:19 对你们预言巴比伦王必不来攻击你们和这地的先知，现今在哪里呢？ Jer 37:19 “Where are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying, ‘The king of Babylon will not come against you and against this land’?” ## 耶37:20 主我的王啊！求你现在垂听，准我在你面前的恳求。不要使我回到文士约拿单的房屋中，免得我死在那里。” Jer 37:20 “Now hear, please, O my lord the king: let my humble plea come before you and do not send me back to the house of Jonathan the secretary, lest I die there.” ## 耶37:21 于是，西底家王下令，他们就把耶利米交在护卫兵的院中，每天从饼铺街取一个饼给他，直到城中的饼用尽了。这样，耶利米仍在护卫兵的院中。 Jer 37:21 “So King Zedekiah gave orders, and they committed Jeremiah to the court of the guard. And a loaf of bread was given him daily from the bakers’ street, until all the bread of the city was gone. So Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.”
