# 箴-Pro 29 ## 箴29:1 人屡次受责罚,仍然硬着颈项,他必顷刻败坏,无法可治。 Pro 29:1 “He who is often reproved, yet stiffens his neck, will suddenly be broken beyond healing.” ## 箴29:2 义人增多,民就喜乐;恶人掌权,民就叹息。 Pro 29:2 “When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.” ## 箴29:3 爱慕智慧的,使父亲喜乐;与妓女结交的,却浪费钱财。 Pro 29:3 “He who loves wisdom makes his father glad, but a companion of prostitutes squanders his wealth.” ## 箴29:4 王借公平,使国坚定;索要贿赂,使国倾败。 Pro 29:4 “By justice a king builds up the land, but he who exacts gifts tears it down.” ## 箴29:5 谄媚邻舍的,就是设网罗绊他的脚。 Pro 29:5 A man who flatters his neighbor spreads a net for his feet. ## 箴29:6 恶人犯罪,自陷网罗;惟独义人,欢呼喜乐。 Pro 29:6 “An evil man is ensnared in his transgression, but a righteous man sings and rejoices.” ## 箴29:7 义人知道查明穷人的案;恶人没有聪明,就不得而知。 Pro 29:7 A righteous man knows the rights of the poor; a wicked man does not understand such knowledge. ## 箴29:8 亵慢人煽惑通城;智慧人止息众怒。 Pro 29:8 “Scoffers set a city aflame, but the wise turn away wrath.” ## 箴29:9 智慧人与愚妄人相争,或怒或笑,总不能使他止息。 Pro 29:9 “If a wise man has an argument with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs, and there is no quiet.” ## 箴29:10 好流人血的,恨恶完全人,索取正直人的性命。 Pro 29:10 Bloodthirsty men hate one who is blameless and seek the life of the upright. ## 箴29:11 愚妄人怒气全发;智慧人忍气含怒。 Pro 29:11 “A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.” ## 箴29:12 君王若听谎言,他一切臣仆都是奸恶。 Pro 29:12 “If a ruler listens to falsehood, all his officials will be wicked.” ## 箴29:13 贫穷人、强暴人,在世相遇,他们的眼目,都蒙耶和华光照。 Pro 29:13 The poor man and the oppressor meet together; the LORD gives light to the eyes of both. ## 箴29:14 君王凭诚实判断穷人,他的国位,必永远坚立。 Pro 29:14 “If a king faithfully judges the poor, his throne will be established forever.” ## 箴29:15 杖打和责备,能加增智慧;放纵的儿子,使母亲羞愧。 Pro 29:15 “The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother.” ## 箴29:16 恶人加多,过犯也加多,义人必看见他们跌倒。 Pro 29:16 “When the wicked increase, transgression increases, but the righteous will look upon their downfall.” ## 箴29:17 管教你的儿子,他就使你得安息,也必使你心里喜乐。 Pro 29:17 “Discipline your son, and he will give you rest; he will give delight to your heart.” ## 箴29:18 没有异象(或作“默示”),民就放肆;惟遵守律法的,便为有福。 Pro 29:18 “Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.” ## 箴29:19 只用言语,仆人不肯受管教,他虽然明白,也不留意。 Pro 29:19 “By mere words a servant is not disciplined, for though he understands, he will not respond.” ## 箴29:20 你见言语急躁的人吗?愚昧人比他更有指望。 Pro 29:20 Do you see a man who is hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him. ## 箴29:21 人将仆人从小娇养,这仆人终久必成了他的儿子。 Pro 29:21 Whoever pampers his servant from childhood will in the end find him his heir. ## 箴29:22 好气的人,挑启争端;暴怒的人,多多犯罪。 Pro 29:22 “A man of wrath stirs up strife, and one given to anger causes much transgression.” ## 箴29:23 人的高傲,必使他卑下;心里谦逊的,必得尊荣。 Pro 29:23 “One’s pride will bring him low, but he who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.” ## 箴29:24 人与盗贼分赃,是恨恶自己的性命,他听见叫人发誓的声音,却不言语。 Pro 29:24 “The partner of a thief hates his own life; he hears the curse, but discloses nothing.” ## 箴29:25 惧怕人的,陷入网罗;惟有倚靠耶和华的,必得安稳。 Pro 29:25 “The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is safe.” ## 箴29:26 求王恩的人多。定人事乃在耶和华。 Pro 29:26 “Many seek the face of a ruler, but it is from the LORD that a man gets justice.” ## 箴29:27 为非作歹的,被义人憎嫌;行事正直的,被恶人憎恶。 Pro 29:27 “An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, but one whose way is straight is an abomination to the wicked.”
