# 箴-Pro 27 ## 箴27:1 不要为明日自夸,因为一日要生何事,你尚且不能知道。 Pro 27:1 “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.” ## 箴27:2 要别人夸奖你,不可用口自夸;等外人称赞你,不可用嘴自称。 Pro 27:2 “Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips.” ## 箴27:3 石头重,沙土沉,愚妄人的恼怒,比这两样更重。 Pro 27:3 “A stone is heavy, and sand is weighty, but a fool’s provocation is heavier than both.” ## 箴27:4 忿怒为残忍,怒气为狂澜,惟有嫉妒,谁能敌得住呢? Pro 27:4 “Wrath is cruel, anger is overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy?” ## 箴27:5 当面的责备,强如背地的爱情。 Pro 27:5 Better is open rebuke than hidden love. ## 箴27:6 朋友加的伤痕,出于忠诚;仇敌连连亲嘴,却是多余。 Pro 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend; profuse are the kisses of an enemy. ## 箴27:7 人吃饱了,厌恶蜂房的蜜;人饥饿了,一切苦物都觉甘甜。 Pro 27:7 “One who is full loathes honey, but to one who is hungry everything bitter is sweet.” ## 箴27:8 人离本处飘流,好象雀鸟离窝游飞。 Pro 27:8 Like a bird that strays from its nest is a man who strays from his home. ## 箴27:9 膏油与香料,使人心喜悦;朋友诚实的劝教,也是如此甘美。 Pro 27:9 “Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness of a friend comes from his earnest counsel.” ## 箴27:10 你的朋友和父亲的朋友,你都不可离弃。你遭难的日子,不要上弟兄的家去;相近的邻舍,强如远方的弟兄。 Pro 27:10 “Do not forsake your friend and your father’s friend, and do not go to your brother’s house in the day of your calamity. Better is a neighbor who is near than a brother who is far away.” ## 箴27:11 我儿,你要作智慧人,好叫我的心欢喜,使我可以回答那讥诮我的人。 Pro 27:11 “Be wise, my son, and make my heart glad, that I may answer him who reproaches me.” ## 箴27:12 通达人见祸藏躲;愚蒙人前往受害。 Pro 27:12 “The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.” ## 箴27:13 谁为生人作保,就拿谁的衣服;谁为外女作保,谁就承当。 Pro 27:13 “Take a man’s garment when he has put up security for a stranger, and hold it in pledge when he puts up security for an adulteress.” ## 箴27:14 清晨起来,大声给朋友祝福的,就算是咒诅他。 Pro 27:14 “Whoever blesses his neighbor with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, will be counted as cursing.” ## 箴27:15 大雨之日连连滴漏,和争吵的妇人一样; Pro 27:15 A continual dripping on a rainy day and a quarrelsome wife are alike; ## 箴27:16 想拦阻她的,便是拦阻风,也是右手抓油。 Pro 27:16 to restrain her is to restrain the wind or to grasp oil in one’s right hand. ## 箴27:17 铁磨铁,磨出刃来;朋友相感(原文作“磨朋友的脸”),也是如此。 Pro 27:17 “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” ## 箴27:18 看守无花果树的,必吃树上的果子;敬奉主人的,必得尊荣。 Pro 27:18 “Whoever tends a fig tree will eat its fruit, and he who guards his master will be honored.” ## 箴27:19 水中照脸,彼此相符;人与人,心也相对。 Pro 27:19 “As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects the man.” ## 箴27:20 阴间和灭亡,永不满足;人的眼目,也是如此。 Pro 27:20 “Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied, and never satisfied are the eyes of man.” ## 箴27:21 鼎为炼银,炉为炼金,人的称赞也试炼人。 Pro 27:21 “The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and a man is tested by his praise.” ## 箴27:22 你虽用杵,将愚妄人与打碎的麦子一同捣在臼中,他的愚妄还是离不了他。 Pro 27:22 “Crush a fool in a mortar with a pestle along with crushed grain, yet his folly will not depart from him.” ## 箴27:23 你要详细知道你羊群的景况,留心料理你的牛群。 Pro 27:23 “Know well the condition of your flocks, and give attention to your herds,” ## 箴27:24 因为资财不能永有,冠冕岂能存到万代? Pro 27:24 for riches do not last forever; and does a crown endure to all generations? ## 箴27:25 干草割去,嫩草发现,山上的菜蔬,也被收敛。 Pro 27:25 “When the grass is gone and the new growth appears and the vegetation of the mountains is gathered,” ## 箴27:26 羊羔之毛,是为你作衣服;山羊是为作田地的价值。 Pro 27:26 “the lambs will provide your clothing, and the goats the price of a field.” ## 箴27:27 并有母山羊奶够你吃,也够你的家眷吃,且够养你的婢女。 Pro 27:27 “There will be enough goats’ milk for your food, for the food of your household and maintenance for your girls.”
