# 箴-Pro 26 ## 箴26:1 夏天落雪,收割时下雨,都不相宜;愚昧人得尊荣,也是如此。 Pro 26:1 “Like snow in summer or rain in harvest, so honor is not fitting for a fool.” ## 箴26:2 麻雀往来,燕子翻飞;这样,无故的咒诅,也必不临到。 Pro 26:2 “Like a sparrow in its flitting, like a swallow in its flying, a curse that is causeless does not alight.” ## 箴26:3 鞭子是为打马,辔头是为勒驴,刑杖是为打愚昧人的背。 Pro 26:3 “A whip for the horse, a bridle for the donkey, and a rod for the back of fools.” ## 箴26:4 不要照愚昧人的愚妄话回答他,恐怕你与他一样。 Pro 26:4 “Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him yourself.” ## 箴26:5 要照愚昧人的愚妄话回答他,免得他自以为有智慧。 Pro 26:5 “Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes.” ## 箴26:6 借愚昧人手寄信的,是砍断自己的脚,自受损害(“自受”原文作“喝”)。 Pro 26:6 Whoever sends a message by the hand of a fool cuts off his own feet and drinks violence. ## 箴26:7 瘸子的脚,空存无用;箴言在愚昧人的口中,也是如此。 Pro 26:7 “Like a lame man’s legs, which hang useless, is a proverb in the mouth of fools.” ## 箴26:8 将尊荣给愚昧人的,好象人把石子包在机弦里。 Pro 26:8 Like one who binds the stone in the sling is one who gives honor to a fool. ## 箴26:9 箴言在愚昧人的口中,好象荆棘刺入醉汉的手。 Pro 26:9 Like a thorn that goes up into the hand of a drunkard is a proverb in the mouth of fools. ## 箴26:10 雇愚昧人的,与雇过路人的,就象射伤众人的弓箭手。 Pro 26:10 Like an archer who wounds everyone is one who hires a passing fool or drunkard. ## 箴26:11 愚昧人行愚妄事,行了又行,就如狗转过来吃它所吐的。 Pro 26:11 Like a dog that returns to his vomit is a fool who repeats his folly. ## 箴26:12 你见自以为有智慧的人吗?愚昧人比他更有指望。 Pro 26:12 Do you see a man who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him. ## 箴26:13 懒惰人说,道上有猛狮,街上有壮狮。 Pro 26:13 “The sluggard says, “There is a lion in the road! There is a lion in the streets!” ## 箴26:14 门在枢纽转动,懒惰人在床上也是如此。 Pro 26:14 “As a door turns on its hinges, so does a sluggard on his bed.” ## 箴26:15 懒惰人放手在盘子里,就是向口撤回,也以为劳乏。 Pro 26:15 The sluggard buries his hand in the dish; it wears him out to bring it back to his mouth. ## 箴26:16 懒惰人看自己,比七个善于应对的人更有智慧。 Pro 26:16 The sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than seven men who can answer sensibly. ## 箴26:17 过路被事激动,管理不干己的争竞,好象人揪住狗耳。 Pro 26:17 Whoever meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a passing dog by the ears. ## 箴26:18 \- Pro 26:18 “Like a madman who throws firebrands, arrows, and death” ## 箴26:19 人欺凌邻舍,却说:“我岂不是戏耍吗?”他就象疯狂的人,抛掷火把、利箭,与杀人的兵器(“杀人的兵器”原文作“死亡”)。 Pro 26:19 “is the man who deceives his neighbor and says, “I am only joking!” ## 箴26:20 火缺了柴,就必熄灭;无人传舌,争竞便止息。 Pro 26:20 “For lack of wood the fire goes out, and where there is no whisperer, quarreling ceases.” ## 箴26:21 好争竞的人煽惑争端,就如余火加炭,火上加柴一样。 Pro 26:21 “As charcoal to hot embers and wood to fire, so is a quarrelsome man for kindling strife.” ## 箴26:22 传舌人的言语,如同美食,深入人的心腹。 Pro 26:22 The words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels; they go down into the inner parts of the body. ## 箴26:23 火热的嘴,奸恶的心,好象银渣包的瓦器。 Pro 26:23 Like the glaze covering an earthen vessel are fervent lips with an evil heart. ## 箴26:24 怨恨人的用嘴粉饰,心里却藏着诡诈; Pro 26:24 Whoever hates disguises himself with his lips and harbors deceit in his heart; ## 箴26:25 他用甜言蜜语,你不可信他,因为他心中有七样可憎恶的。 Pro 26:25 “when he speaks graciously, believe him not, for there are seven abominations in his heart;” ## 箴26:26 他虽用诡诈遮掩自己的怨恨,他的邪恶必在会中显露。 Pro 26:26 “though his hatred be covered with deception, his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly.” ## 箴26:27 挖陷坑的,自己必掉在其中;滚石头的,石头必反滚在他身上。 Pro 26:27 “Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling.” ## 箴26:28 虚谎的舌,恨他所压伤的人;谄媚的口,败坏人的事。 Pro 26:28 “A lying tongue hates its victims, and a flattering mouth works ruin.”
