# 箴-Pro 20 ## 箴20:1 酒能使人亵慢，浓酒使人喧嚷，凡因酒错误的，就无智慧。 Pro 20:1 “Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.” ## 箴20:2 王的威吓，如同狮子吼叫；惹动他怒的，是自害己命。 Pro 20:2 The terror of a king is like the growling of a lion; whoever provokes him to anger forfeits his life. ## 箴20:3 远离纷争，是人的尊荣；愚妄人都爱争闹。 Pro 20:3 “It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife, but every fool will be quarreling.” ## 箴20:4 懒惰人因冬寒不肯耕种，到收割的时候，他必讨饭而无所得。 Pro 20:4 The sluggard does not plow in the autumn; he will seek at harvest and have nothing. ## 箴20:5 人心怀藏谋略，好象深水，惟明哲人才能汲引出来。 Pro 20:5 “The purpose in a man’s heart is like deep water, but a man of understanding will draw it out.” ## 箴20:6 人多述说自己的仁慈，但忠信人谁能遇着呢？ Pro 20:6 “Many a man proclaims his own steadfast love, but a faithful man who can find?” ## 箴20:7 行为纯正的义人，他的子孙是有福的。 Pro 20:7 The righteous who walks in his integrity— blessed are his children after him! ## 箴20:8 王坐在审判的位上，以眼目驱散诸恶。 Pro 20:8 A king who sits on the throne of judgment winnows all evil with his eyes. ## 箴20:9 谁能说：“我洁净了我的心，我脱净了我的罪？” Pro 20:9 “Who can say, “I have made my heart pure; I am clean from my sin”?” ## 箴20:10 两样的法码，两样的升斗，都为耶和华所憎恶。 Pro 20:10 Unequal weights and unequal measures are both alike an abomination to the LORD. ## 箴20:11 孩童的动作，是清洁，是正直，都显明他的本性。 Pro 20:11 “Even a child makes himself known by his acts, by whether his conduct is pure and upright.” ## 箴20:12 能听的耳，能看的眼，都是耶和华所造的。 Pro 20:12 “The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the LORD has made them both.” ## 箴20:13 不要贪睡，免致贫穷；眼要睁开，你就吃饱。 Pro 20:13 “Love not sleep, lest you come to poverty; open your eyes, and you will have plenty of bread.” ## 箴20:14 买物的说：“不好！不好！”及至买去，他便自夸。 Pro 20:14 “Bad, bad, says the buyer, but when he goes away, then he boasts.” ## 箴20:15 有金子和许多珍珠(或作“红宝石”)，惟有知识的嘴，乃为贵重的珍宝。 Pro 20:15 “There is gold and abundance of costly stones, but the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.” ## 箴20:16 谁为生人作保，就拿谁的衣服；谁为外人作保，谁就要承当。 Pro 20:16 “Take a man’s garment when he has put up security for a stranger, and hold it in pledge when he puts up security for foreigners.” ## 箴20:17 以虚谎而得的食物，人觉甘甜；但后来他的口，必充满尘沙。 Pro 20:17 “Bread gained by deceit is sweet to a man, but afterward his mouth will be full of gravel.” ## 箴20:18 计谋都凭筹算立定，打仗要凭智谋。 Pro 20:18 Plans are established by counsel; by wise guidance wage war. ## 箴20:19 往来传舌的，泄漏密事；大张嘴的不可与他结交。 Pro 20:19 Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets; therefore do not associate with a simple babbler. ## 箴20:20 咒骂父母的，他的灯必灭，变为漆黑的黑暗。 Pro 20:20 “If one curses his father or his mother, his lamp will be put out in utter darkness.” ## 箴20:21 起初速得的产业，终久却不为福。 Pro 20:21 An inheritance gained hastily in the beginning will not be blessed in the end. ## 箴20:22 你不要说，我要以恶报恶；要等候耶和华，他必拯救你。 Pro 20:22 “Do not say, “I will repay evil”; wait for the LORD, and he will deliver you.” ## 箴20:23 两样的法码，为耶和华所憎恶；诡诈的天平，也为不善。 Pro 20:23 “Unequal weights are an abomination to the LORD, and false scales are not good.” ## 箴20:24 人的脚步，为耶和华所定；人岂能明白自己的路呢？ Pro 20:24 A man’s steps are from the LORD; how then can man understand his way? ## 箴20:25 人冒失说，这是圣物，许愿之后才查问，就是自陷网罗。 Pro 20:25 “It is a snare to say rashly, “It is holy,” and to reflect only after making vows.” ## 箴20:26 智慧的王，簸散恶人，用碌碡滚轧他们。 Pro 20:26 A wise king winnows the wicked and drives the wheel over them. ## 箴20:27 人的灵是耶和华的灯，鉴察人的心腹。 Pro 20:27 “The spirit of man is the lamp of the LORD, searching all his innermost parts.” ## 箴20:28 王因仁慈和诚实，得以保全他的国位，也因仁慈立稳。 Pro 20:28 “Steadfast love and faithfulness preserve the king, and by steadfast love his throne is upheld.” ## 箴20:29 强壮乃少年人的荣耀；白发为老年人的尊荣。 Pro 20:29 “The glory of young men is their strength, but the splendor of old men is their gray hair.” ## 箴20:30 鞭伤除净人的罪恶，责打能入人的心腹。 Pro 20:30 Blows that wound cleanse away evil; strokes make clean the innermost parts.
