## 箴14:1
智慧妇人,建立家室;愚妄妇人,亲手拆毁。
Pro 14:1 “The wisest of women builds her house, but folly with her own hands tears it down.”
## 箴14:2
行动正直的,敬畏耶和华;行事乖僻的,却藐视他。
Pro 14:2 “Whoever walks in uprightness fears the LORD, but he who is devious in his ways despises him.”
## 箴14:3
愚妄人口中骄傲,如杖责打己身;智慧人的嘴,必保守自己。
Pro 14:3 “By the mouth of a fool comes a rod for his back, but the lips of the wise will preserve them.”
## 箴14:4
家里无牛,槽头干净;土产加多,乃凭牛力。
Pro 14:4 “Where there are no oxen, the manger is clean, but abundant crops come by the strength of the ox.”
## 箴14:5
诚实见证人,不说谎话;假见证人,吐出谎言。
Pro 14:5 “A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness breathes out lies.”
## 箴14:6
亵慢人寻智慧,却寻不着;聪明人易得知识。
Pro 14:6 “A scoffer seeks wisdom in vain, but knowledge is easy for a man of understanding.”
## 箴14:7
到愚昧人面前,不见他嘴中有知识。
Pro 14:7 “Leave the presence of a fool, for there you do not meet words of knowledge.”
## 箴14:8
通达人的智慧,在乎明白己道;愚昧人的愚妄,乃是诡诈(或作“自欺”)。
Pro 14:8 “The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way, but the folly of fools is deceiving.”
## 箴14:9
愚妄人犯罪,以为戏耍(或作“赎愆祭愚弄愚妄人”);正直人互相喜悦。
Pro 14:9 “Fools mock at the guilt offering, but the upright enjoy acceptance.”
## 箴14:10
心中的苦楚,自己知道;心里的喜乐,外人无干。
Pro 14:10 “The heart knows its own bitterness, and no stranger shares its joy.”
## 箴14:11
奸恶人的房屋必倾倒;正直人的帐棚必兴盛。
Pro 14:11 “The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish.”
## 箴14:12
有一条路人以为正,至终成为死亡之路。
Pro 14:12 “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.”
## 箴14:13
人在喜笑中,心也忧愁;快乐至极,就生愁苦。
Pro 14:13 “Even in laughter the heart may ache, and the end of joy may be grief.”
## 箴14:14
心中背道的,必满得自己的结果;善人必从自己的行为得以知足。
Pro 14:14 “The backslider in heart will be filled with the fruit of his ways, and a good man will be filled with the fruit of his ways.”
## 箴14:15
愚蒙人是话都信;通达人步步谨慎。
Pro 14:15 “The simple believes everything, but the prudent gives thought to his steps.”
## 箴14:16
智慧人惧怕,就远离恶事;愚妄人却狂傲自恃。
Pro 14:16 “One who is wise is cautious and turns away from evil, but a fool is reckless and careless.”
## 箴14:17
轻易发怒的,行事愚妄;设立诡计的,被人恨恶。
Pro 14:17 “A man of quick temper acts foolishly, and a man of evil devices is hated.”
## 箴14:18
愚蒙人得愚昧为产业;通达人得知识为冠冕。
Pro 14:18 “The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.”
## 箴14:19
坏人俯伏在善人面前;恶人俯伏在义人门口。
Pro 14:19 “The evil bow down before the good, the wicked at the gates of the righteous.”
## 箴14:20
贫穷人连邻舍也恨他;富足人朋友最多。
Pro 14:20 “The poor is disliked even by his neighbor, but the rich has many friends.”
## 箴14:21
藐视邻舍的,这人有罪;怜悯贫穷的,这人有福。
Pro 14:21 “Whoever despises his neighbor is a sinner, but blessed is he who is generous to the poor.”
## 箴14:22
谋恶的岂非走入迷途吗?谋善的必得慈爱和诚实。
Pro 14:22 Do they not go astray who devise evil? Those who devise good meet steadfast love and faithfulness.
## 箴14:23
诸般勤劳,都有益处;嘴上多言,乃致穷乏。
Pro 14:23 “In all toil there is profit, but mere talk tends only to poverty.”
## 箴14:24
智慧人的财,为自己的冠冕;愚妄人的愚昧,终是愚昧。
Pro 14:24 “The crown of the wise is their wealth, but the folly of fools brings folly.”
## 箴14:25
作真见证的,救人性命;吐出谎言的,施行诡诈。
Pro 14:25 “A truthful witness saves lives, but one who breathes out lies is deceitful.”
## 箴14:26
敬畏耶和华的,大有倚靠;他的儿女,也有避难所。
Pro 14:26 “In the fear of the LORD one has strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge.”
## 箴14:27
敬畏耶和华,就是生命的泉源,可以使人离开死亡的网罗。
Pro 14:27 “The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, that one may turn away from the snares of death.”
## 箴14:28
帝王荣耀在乎民多;君王衰败在乎民少。
Pro 14:28 “In a multitude of people is the glory of a king, but without people a prince is ruined.”
## 箴14:29
不轻易发怒的,大有聪明;性情暴躁的,大显愚妄。
Pro 14:29 “Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.”
## 箴14:30
心中安静,是肉体的生命;嫉妒是骨中的朽烂。
Pro 14:30 “A tranquil heart gives life to the flesh, but envy makes the bones rot.”
## 箴14:31
欺压贫寒的,是辱没造他的主;怜悯穷乏的,乃是尊敬主。
Pro 14:31 “Whoever oppresses a poor man insults his Maker, but he who is generous to the needy honors him.”
## 箴14:32
恶人在所行的恶上,必被推倒;义人临死,有所投靠。
Pro 14:32 “The wicked is overthrown through his evildoing, but the righteous finds refuge in his death.”
## 箴14:33
智慧存在聪明人心中;愚昧人心里所存的,显而易见。
Pro 14:33 “Wisdom rests in the heart of a man of understanding, but it makes itself known even in the midst of fools.”
## 箴14:34
公义使邦国高举;罪恶是人民的羞辱。
Pro 14:34 “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”
## 箴14:35
智慧的臣子,蒙王恩惠;贻羞的仆人,遭其震怒。
Pro 14:35 “A servant who deals wisely has the king’s favor, but his wrath falls on one who acts shamefully.”
