# 箴-Pro 1 ## 箴1:1 以色列王大卫儿子所罗门的箴言： Pro 1:1 “The proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel:” ## 箴1:2 要使人晓得智慧和训诲，分辨通达的言语； Pro 1:2 “To know wisdom and instruction, to understand words of insight,” ## 箴1:3 使人处事，领受智慧、仁义、公平、正直的训诲； Pro 1:3 “to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity;” ## 箴1:4 使愚人灵明；使少年人有知识和谋略； Pro 1:4 “to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth—” ## 箴1:5 使智慧人听见，增长学问；使聪明人得着智谋； Pro 1:5 “Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance,” ## 箴1:6 使人明白箴言和譬喻，懂得智慧人的言词和谜语。 Pro 1:6 “to understand a proverb and a saying, the words of the wise and their riddles.” ## 箴1:7 敬畏耶和华是知识的开端；愚妄人藐视智慧和训诲。 Pro 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. ## 箴1:8 我儿，要听你父亲的训诲；不可离弃你母亲的法则(或作“指教”)。 Pro 1:8 “Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching,” ## 箴1:9 因为这要作你头上的华冠，你项上的金链。 Pro 1:9 for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck. ## 箴1:10 我儿，恶人若引诱你，你不可随从。 Pro 1:10 “My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.” ## 箴1:11 他们若说：“你与我们同去，我们要埋伏流人之血，要蹲伏害无罪之人。 Pro 1:11 “If they say, “Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood; let us ambush the innocent without reason;” ## 箴1:12 我们好象阴间，把他们活活吞下；他们如同下坑的人，被我们囫囵吞了。 Pro 1:12 “like Sheol let us swallow them alive, and whole, like those who go down to the pit;” ## 箴1:13 我们必得各样宝物，将所掳来的装满房屋。 Pro 1:13 “we shall find all precious goods, we shall fill our houses with plunder;” ## 箴1:14 你与我们大家同分，我们共用一个囊袋。” Pro 1:14 “throw in your lot among us; we will all have one purse”—” ## 箴1:15 我儿，不要与他们同行一道，禁止你脚走他们的路； Pro 1:15 “my son, do not walk in the way with them; hold back your foot from their paths,” ## 箴1:16 因为他们的脚奔跑行恶，他们急速流人的血， Pro 1:16 “for their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed blood.” ## 箴1:17 好象飞鸟，网罗设在眼前仍不躲避。 Pro 1:17 “For in vain is a net spread in the sight of any bird,” ## 箴1:18 这些人埋伏，是为自流己血；蹲伏，是为自害己命。 Pro 1:18 but these men lie in wait for their own blood; they set an ambush for their own lives. ## 箴1:19 凡贪恋财利的，所行之路，都是如此；这贪恋之心，乃夺去得财者之命。 Pro 1:19 Such are the ways of everyone who is greedy for unjust gain; it takes away the life of its possessors. ## 箴1:20 智慧在街市上呼喊，在宽阔处发声； Pro 1:20 “Wisdom cries aloud in the street, in the markets she raises her voice;” ## 箴1:21 在热闹街头喊叫，在城门口、在城中发出言语。 Pro 1:21 at the head of the noisy streets she cries out; at the entrance of the city gates she speaks: ## 箴1:22 说：你们愚昧人喜爱愚昧，亵慢人喜欢亵慢，愚顽人恨恶知识，要到几时呢？ Pro 1:22 “How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge?” ## 箴1:23 你们当因我的责备回转，我要将我的灵浇灌你们，将我的话指示你们。 Pro 1:23 “If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.” ## 箴1:24 我呼唤，你们不肯听从；我伸手，无人理会； Pro 1:24 “Because I have called and you refused to listen, have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded,” ## 箴1:25 反轻弃我一切的劝戒，不肯受我的责备。 Pro 1:25 “because you have ignored all my counsel and would have none of my reproof,” ## 箴1:26 你们遭灾难，我就发笑；惊恐临到你们，我必嗤笑。 Pro 1:26 “I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when terror strikes you,” ## 箴1:27 惊恐临到你们，好象狂风；灾难来到，如同暴风；急难痛苦临到你们身上。 Pro 1:27 “when terror strikes you like a storm and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.” ## 箴1:28 那时，你们必呼求我，我却不答应；恳切地寻找我，却寻不见； Pro 1:28 “Then they will call upon me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently but will not find me.” ## 箴1:29 因为你们恨恶知识，不喜爱敬畏耶和华； Pro 1:29 “Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the LORD,” ## 箴1:30 不听我的劝戒，藐视我一切的责备， Pro 1:30 “would have none of my counsel and despised all my reproof,” ## 箴1:31 所以必吃自结的果子，充满自设的计谋。 Pro 1:31 “therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way, and have their fill of their own devices.” ## 箴1:32 愚昧人背道，必杀己身；愚顽人安逸，必害己命。 Pro 1:32 “For the simple are killed by their turning away, and the complacency of fools destroys them;” ## 箴1:33 惟有听从我的，必安然居住，得享安静，不怕灾祸。 Pro 1:33 “but whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.”
