# 伯-Job 42 ## 伯42:1 约伯回答耶和华说： Job 42:1 Then Job answered the LORD and said: ## 伯42:2 “我知道你万事都能作，你的旨意不能拦阻。 Job 42:2 “I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.” ## 伯42:3 谁用无知的言语，使你的旨意隐藏呢？我所说的，是我不明白的；这些事太奇妙，是我不知道的。 Job 42:3 “Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.” ## 伯42:4 求你听我，我要说话。我问你，求你指示我。 Job 42:4 “Hear, and I will speak; I will question you, and you make it known to me.’” ## 伯42:5 我从前风闻有你，现在亲眼看见你。 Job 42:5 “I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you;” ## 伯42:6 因此我厌恶自己(“自己”或作“我的言语”)，在尘土和炉灰中懊悔。” Job 42:6 “therefore I despise myself, and repent in dust and ashes.” ## 伯42:7 耶和华对约伯说话以后，就对提幔人以利法说：“我的怒气向你和你两个朋友发作，因为你们议论我，不如我的仆人约伯说的是。 Job 42:7 “After the LORD had spoken these words to Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite: “My anger burns against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.” ## 伯42:8 现在你们要取七只公牛，七只公羊，到我仆人约伯那里去，为自己献上燔祭，我的仆人约伯就为你们祈祷。我因悦纳他，就不按你们的愚妄办你们。你们议论我，不如我的仆人约伯说的是。” Job 42:8 “Now therefore take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and offer up a burnt offering for yourselves. And my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept his prayer not to deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.” ## 伯42:9 于是提幔人以利法，书亚人比勒达，拿玛人琐法，照着耶和华所吩咐的去行，耶和华就悦纳约伯。 Job 42:9 “So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did what the LORD had told them, and the LORD accepted Job’s prayer.” ## 伯42:10 约伯为他的朋友祈祷，耶和华就使约伯从苦境转回(“苦境”原文作“掳掠”)。并且耶和华赐给他的，比他从前所有的加倍。 Job 42:10 “And the LORD restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.” ## 伯42:11 约伯的弟兄、姐妹，和以先所认识的人都来见他，在他家里一同吃饭，又论到耶和华所降与他的一切灾祸，都为他悲伤安慰他，每人也送他一块银子和一个金环。 Job 42:11 “Then came to him all his brothers and sisters and all who had known him before, and ate bread with him in his house. And they showed him sympathy and comforted him for all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him. And each of them gave him a piece of money and a ring of gold.” ## 伯42:12 这样，耶和华后来赐福给约伯，比先前更多。他有一万四千羊，六千骆驼，一千对牛，一千母驴。 Job 42:12 And the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning. And he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.” ## 伯42:13 他也有七个儿子，三个女儿。 Job 42:13 He had also seven sons and three daughters. ## 伯42:14 他给长女起名叫耶米玛，次女叫基洗亚，三女叫基连哈朴。 Job 42:14 “And he called the name of the first daughter Jemimah, and the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-happuch.” ## 伯42:15 在那全地的妇女中，找不着象约伯的女儿那样美貌。她们的父亲使她们在弟兄中得产业。 Job 42:15 And in all the land there were no women so beautiful as Job’s daughters. And their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers. ## 伯42:16 此后，约伯又活了一百四十年，得见他的儿孙，直到四代。 Job 42:16 “And after this Job lived 140 years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, four generations.” ## 伯42:17 这样，约伯年纪老迈，日子满足而死。 Job 42:17 “And Job died, an old man, and full of days.”
