# 斯-Est 3 ## 斯3:1 这事以后，亚哈随鲁王抬举亚甲族哈米大他的儿子哈曼，使他高升，叫他的爵位超过与他同事的一切臣宰。 Est 3:1 “After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman the Agagite, the son of Hammedatha, and advanced him and set his throne above all the officials who were with him.” ## 斯3:2 在朝门的一切臣仆，都跪拜哈曼，因为王如此吩咐，惟独末底改不跪不拜。 Est 3:2 “And all the king’s servants who were at the king’s gate bowed down and paid homage to Haman, for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai did not bow down or pay homage.” ## 斯3:3 在朝门的臣仆问末底改说：“你为何违背王的命令呢？” Est 3:3 “Then the king’s servants who were at the king’s gate said to Mordecai, “Why do you transgress the king’s command?” ## 斯3:4 他们天天劝他，他还是不听，他们就告诉哈曼，要看末底改的事站得住站不住，因他已经告诉他们自己是犹大人。 Est 3:4 “And when they spoke to him day after day and he would not listen to them, they told Haman, in order to see whether Mordecai’s words would stand, for he had told them that he was a Jew.” ## 斯3:5 哈曼见末底改不跪不拜，他就怒气填胸。 Est 3:5 “And when Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow down or pay homage to him, Haman was filled with fury.” ## 斯3:6 他们已将末底改的本族告诉哈曼，他以为下手害末底改一人是小事，就要灭绝亚哈随鲁王通国所有的犹大人，就是末底改的本族。 Est 3:6 “But he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone. So, as they had made known to him the people of Mordecai, Haman sought to destroy all the Jews, the people of Mordecai, throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus.” ## 斯3:7 亚哈随鲁王十二年正月，就是尼散月，人在哈曼面前，按日日月月掣普珥，就是掣签，要定何月何日为吉，择定了十二月，就是亚达月。 Est 3:7 “In the first month, which is the month of Nisan, in the twelfth year of King Ahasuerus, they cast Pur (that is, they cast lots) before Haman day after day; and they cast it month after month till the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar.” ## 斯3:8 哈曼对亚哈随鲁王说：“有一种民，散居在王国各省的民中，他们的律例，与万民的律例不同；也不守王的律例，所以容留他们与王无益。 Est 3:8 “Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus, “There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of your kingdom. Their laws are different from those of every other people, and they do not keep the king’s laws, so that it is not to the king’s profit to tolerate them.” ## 斯3:9 王若以为美，请下旨意灭绝他们。我就捐一万他连得银子，交给掌管国帑的人，纳入王的府库。” Est 3:9 “If it please the king, let it be decreed that they be destroyed, and I will pay 10,000 talents of silver into the hands of those who have charge of the king’s business, that they may put it into the king’s treasuries.” ## 斯3:10 于是王从自己手上摘下戒指，给犹大人的仇敌，亚甲族哈米大他的儿子哈曼。 Est 3:10 “So the king took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman the Agagite, the son of Hammedatha, the enemy of the Jews.” ## 斯3:11 王对哈曼说：“这银子仍赐给你，这民也交给你，你可以随意待他们。” Est 3:11 “And the king said to Haman, “The money is given to you, the people also, to do with them as it seems good to you.” ## 斯3:12 正月十三日，就召了王的书记来，照着哈曼一切所吩咐的，用各省的文字，各族的方言，奉亚哈随鲁王的名写旨意，传与总督和各省的省长，并各族的首领。又用王的戒指盖印， Est 3:12 “Then the king’s scribes were summoned on the thirteenth day of the first month, and an edict, according to all that Haman commanded, was written to the king’s satraps and to the governors over all the provinces and to the officials of all the peoples, to every province in its own script and every people in its own language. It was written in the name of King Ahasuerus and sealed with the king’s signet ring.” ## 斯3:13 交给驿卒传到王的各省，吩咐将犹大人，无论老少妇女孩子，在一日之间，十二月，就是亚达月十三日，全然剪除，杀戮灭绝，并夺他们的财为掠物。 Est 3:13 “Letters were sent by couriers to all the king’s provinces with instruction to destroy, to kill, and to annihilate all Jews, young and old, women and children, in one day, the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar, and to plunder their goods.” ## 斯3:14 抄录这旨意，颁行各省，宣告各族，使他们预备等候那日。 Est 3:14 A copy of the document was to be issued as a decree in every province by proclamation to all the peoples to be ready for that day. ## 斯3:15 驿卒奉王命急忙起行，旨意也传遍书珊城。王同哈曼坐下饮酒，书珊城的民，却都慌乱。 Est 3:15 “The couriers went out hurriedly by order of the king, and the decree was issued in Susa the citadel. And the king and Haman sat down to drink, but the city of Susa was thrown into confusion.”
