# 撒下-2Sa 8 ## 撒下8:1 此后，大卫攻打非利士人，把他们治服，从他们手下夺取了京城的权柄。(原文作“母城的嚼环”)。 2Sa 8:1 “After this David defeated the Philistines and subdued them, and David took Metheg-ammah out of the hand of the Philistines.” ## 撒下8:2 又攻打摩押人，使他们躺卧在地上，用绳量一量：量二绳的杀了，量一绳的存留。摩押人就归服大卫，给他进贡。 2Sa 8:2 “And he defeated Moab and he measured them with a line, making them lie down on the ground. Two lines he measured to be put to death, and one full line to be spared. And the Moabites became servants to David and brought tribute.” ## 撒下8:3 琐巴王利合的儿子哈大底谢，往大河去，要夺回他的国权。大卫就攻打他， 2Sa 8:3 “David also defeated Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to restore his power at the river Euphrates.” ## 撒下8:4 擒拿了他的马兵一千七百，步兵二万；将拉战车的马砍断蹄筋，但留下一百辆车的马。 2Sa 8:4 “And David took from him 1,700 horsemen, and 20,000 foot soldiers. And David hamstrung all the chariot horses but left enough for 100 chariots.” ## 撒下8:5 大马色的亚兰人来帮助琐巴王哈大底谢，大卫就杀了亚兰人二万二千。 2Sa 8:5 “And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David struck down 22,000 men of the Syrians.” ## 撒下8:6 于是大卫在大马色的亚兰地设立防营，亚兰人就归服他，给他进贡。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。 2Sa 8:6 “Then David put garrisons in Aram of Damascus, and the Syrians became servants to David and brought tribute. And the LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.” ## 撒下8:7 他夺了哈大底谢臣仆所拿的金盾牌，带到耶路撒冷。 2Sa 8:7 And David took the shields of gold that were carried by the servants of Hadadezer and brought them to Jerusalem. ## 撒下8:8 大卫王又从属哈大底谢的比他和比罗他城中，夺取了许多的铜。 2Sa 8:8 “And from Betah and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, King David took very much bronze.” ## 撒下8:9 哈马王陀以听见大卫杀败哈大底谢的全军， 2Sa 8:9 “When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had defeated the whole army of Hadadezer,” ## 撒下8:10 就打发他儿子约兰去见大卫王，问他的安，为他祝福，因为他杀败了哈大底谢，原来陀以与哈大底谢常常争战。约兰带了金银铜的器皿来； 2Sa 8:10 “Toi sent his son Joram to King David, to ask about his health and to bless him because he had fought against Hadadezer and defeated him, for Hadadezer had often been at war with Toi. And Joram brought with him articles of silver, of gold, and of bronze.” ## 撒下8:11 大卫王将这些器皿，和他治服各国所得来的金银，都分别为圣献给耶和华； 2Sa 8:11 “These also King David dedicated to the LORD, together with the silver and gold that he dedicated from all the nations he subdued,” ## 撒下8:12 就是从亚兰、摩押、亚扪、非利士、亚玛力人所得来的，以及从琐巴王利合的儿子哈大底谢所掠之物。 2Sa 8:12 “from Edom, Moab, the Ammonites, the Philistines, Amalek, and from the spoil of Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah.” ## 撒下8:13 大卫在盐谷击杀了亚兰(或作“以东”见诗篇六十篇诗题)一万八千人回来，就得了大名。 2Sa 8:13 “And David made a name for himself when he returned from striking down 18,000 Edomites in the Valley of Salt.” ## 撒下8:14 又在以东全地设立防营，以东人就都归服大卫。大卫无论往哪里去，耶和华都使他得胜。 2Sa 8:14 “Then he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom he put garrisons, and all the Edomites became David’s servants. And the LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.” ## 撒下8:15 大卫作以色列众人的王，又向众民秉公行义。 2Sa 8:15 So David reigned over all Israel. And David administered justice and equity to all his people. ## 撒下8:16 洗鲁雅的儿子约押作元帅；亚希律的儿子约沙法作史官； 2Sa 8:16 “Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army, and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder,” ## 撒下8:17 亚希突的儿子撒督和亚比亚他的儿子亚希米勒作祭司长；西莱雅作书记； 2Sa 8:17 “and Zadok the son of Ahitub and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar were priests, and Seraiah was secretary,” ## 撒下8:18 耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅，统辖基利提人和比利提人。大卫的众子都作领袖。 2Sa 8:18 “and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites, and David’s sons were priests.”
