# 撒下-2Sa 10 ## 撒下10:1 此后，亚扪人的王死了，他儿子哈嫩接续他作王。 2Sa 10:1 “After this the king of the Ammonites died, and Hanun his son reigned in his place.” ## 撒下10:2 大卫说：“我要照哈嫩的父亲拿辖厚待我的恩典，厚待哈嫩。”于是大卫差遣臣仆，为他丧父安慰他。大卫的臣仆到了亚扪人的境内。 2Sa 10:2 “And David said, “I will deal loyally with Hanun the son of Nahash, as his father dealt loyally with me.” So David sent by his servants to console him concerning his father. And David’s servants came into the land of the Ammonites.” ## 撒下10:3 但亚扪人的首领对他们的主哈嫩说：“大卫差人来安慰你，你想他是尊敬你父亲吗？他差臣仆来不是详察窥探，要倾覆这城吗？” 2Sa 10:3 “But the princes of the Ammonites said to Hanun their lord, “Do you think, because David has sent comforters to you, that he is honoring your father? Has not David sent his servants to you to search the city and to spy it out and to overthrow it?” ## 撒下10:4 哈嫩便将大卫臣仆的胡须剃去一半，又割断他们下半截的衣服，使他们露出下体，打发他们回去。 2Sa 10:4 “So Hanun took David’s servants and shaved off half the beard of each and cut off their garments in the middle, at their hips, and sent them away.” ## 撒下10:5 有人告诉大卫，他就差人去迎接他们，因为他们甚觉羞耻。告诉他们说：“可以住在耶利哥，等到胡须长起再回来。” 2Sa 10:5 “When it was told David, he sent to meet them, for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, “Remain at Jericho until your beards have grown and then return.” ## 撒下10:6 亚扪人知道大卫憎恶他们，就打发人去，招募伯利合的亚兰人和琐巴的亚兰人，步兵二万，与玛迦王的人一千，陀伯人一万二千。 2Sa 10:6 “When the Ammonites saw that they had become a stench to David, the Ammonites sent and hired the Syrians of Beth-rehob, and the Syrians of Zobah, 20,000 foot soldiers, and the king of Maacah with 1,000 men, and the men of Tob, 12,000 men.” ## 撒下10:7 大卫听见了，就差派约押统带勇猛的全军出去。 2Sa 10:7 “And when David heard of it, he sent Joab and all the host of the mighty men.” ## 撒下10:8 亚扪人出来在城门前摆阵；琐巴与利合的亚兰人，陀伯人，并玛迦人，另在郊野摆阵。 2Sa 10:8 “And the Ammonites came out and drew up in battle array at the entrance of the gate, and the Syrians of Zobah and of Rehob and the men of Tob and Maacah were by themselves in the open country.” ## 撒下10:9 约押看见敌人在他前后摆阵；就从以色列军中挑选精兵，使他们对着亚兰人摆阵； 2Sa 10:9 “When Joab saw that the battle was set against him both in front and in the rear, he chose some of the best men of Israel and arrayed them against the Syrians.” ## 撒下10:10 其余的兵交与他兄弟亚比筛，对着亚扪人摆阵。 2Sa 10:10 “The rest of his men he put in the charge of Abishai his brother, and he arrayed them against the Ammonites.” ## 撒下10:11 约押对亚比筛说：“亚兰人若强过我，你就来帮助我；亚扪人若强过你，我就去帮助你。 2Sa 10:11 “And he said, “If the Syrians are too strong for me, then you shall help me, but if the Ammonites are too strong for you, then I will come and help you.” ## 撒下10:12 我们都当刚强，为本国的民和神的城邑作大丈夫，愿耶和华凭他的意旨而行。” 2Sa 10:12 “Be of good courage, and let us be courageous for our people, and for the cities of our God, and may the LORD do what seems good to him.” ## 撒下10:13 于是约押和跟随他的人，前进攻打亚兰人，亚兰人在约押面前逃跑。 2Sa 10:13 “So Joab and the people who were with him drew near to battle against the Syrians, and they fled before him.” ## 撒下10:14 亚扪人见亚兰人逃跑，他们也在亚比筛面前逃跑进城。约押就离开亚扪人那里，回耶路撒冷去了。 2Sa 10:14 “And when the Ammonites saw that the Syrians fled, they likewise fled before Abishai and entered the city. Then Joab returned from fighting against the Ammonites and came to Jerusalem.” ## 撒下10:15 亚兰人见自己被以色列人打败，就又聚集。 2Sa 10:15 “But when the Syrians saw that they had been defeated by Israel, they gathered themselves together.” ## 撒下10:16 哈大底谢差遣人，将大河那边的亚兰人调来；他们到了希兰，哈大底谢的将军朔法率领他们。 2Sa 10:16 “And Hadadezer sent and brought out the Syrians who were beyond the Euphrates. They came to Helam, with Shobach the commander of the army of Hadadezer at their head.” ## 撒下10:17 有人告诉大卫，他就聚集以色列众人，过约但河来到希兰。亚兰人迎着大卫摆阵，与他打仗。 2Sa 10:17 “And when it was told David, he gathered all Israel together and crossed the Jordan and came to Helam. The Syrians arrayed themselves against David and fought with him.” ## 撒下10:18 亚兰人在以色列人面前逃跑，大卫杀了亚兰七百辆战车的人，四万马兵，又杀了亚兰的将军朔法。 2Sa 10:18 “And the Syrians fled before Israel, and David killed of the Syrians the men of 700 chariots, and 40,000 horsemen, and wounded Shobach the commander of their army, so that he died there.” ## 撒下10:19 属哈大底谢的诸王，见自己被以色列人打败，就与以色列人和好，归服他们。于是亚兰人，不敢再帮助亚扪人了。 2Sa 10:19 “And when all the kings who were servants of Hadadezer saw that they had been defeated by Israel, they made peace with Israel and became subject to them. So the Syrians were afraid to save the Ammonites anymore.”
