# 代下-2Ch 24 ## 代下24:1 约阿施登基的时候年七岁，在耶路撒冷作王四十年。他母亲名叫西比亚，是别是巴人。 2Ch 24:1 “Joash was seven years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Zibiah of Beersheba.” ## 代下24:2 祭司耶何耶大在世的时候，约阿施行耶和华眼中看为正的事。 2Ch 24:2 And Joash did what was right in the eyes of the LORD all the days of Jehoiada the priest. ## 代下24:3 耶何耶大为他娶了两个妻，并且生儿养女。 2Ch 24:3 “Jehoiada got for him two wives, and he had sons and daughters.” ## 代下24:4 此后，约阿施有意重修耶和华的殿， 2Ch 24:4 After this Joash decided to restore the house of the LORD. ## 代下24:5 便召聚众祭司和利未人，吩咐他们说：“你们要往犹大各城去，使以色列众人捐纳银子，每年可以修理你们神的殿；你们要急速办理这事。”只是利未人不急速办理。 2Ch 24:5 “And he gathered the priests and the Levites and said to them, “Go out to the cities of Judah and gather from all Israel money to repair the house of your God from year to year, and see that you act quickly.” But the Levites did not act quickly.” ## 代下24:6 王召了大祭司耶何耶大来，对他说：“从前耶和华的仆人摩西，为法柜的帐幕，与以色列会众所定的捐项，你为何不叫利未人，照这例从犹大和耶路撒冷带来，作殿的费用呢？” 2Ch 24:6 “So the king summoned Jehoiada the chief and said to him, “Why have you not required the Levites to bring in from Judah and Jerusalem the tax levied by Moses, the servant of the LORD, and the congregation of Israel for the tent of testimony?” ## 代下24:7 因为那恶妇亚他利雅的众子曾拆毁神的殿，又用耶和华殿中分别为圣的物供奉巴力。 2Ch 24:7 “For the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, had broken into the house of God, and had also used all the dedicated things of the house of the LORD for the Baals.” ## 代下24:8 于是王下令，众人作了一柜，放在耶和华殿的门外， 2Ch 24:8 “So the king commanded, and they made a chest and set it outside the gate of the house of the LORD.” ## 代下24:9 又通告犹大和耶路撒冷的百姓，要将神仆人摩西，在旷野所吩咐以色列人的捐项给耶和华送来。 2Ch 24:9 And proclamation was made throughout Judah and Jerusalem to bring in for the LORD the tax that Moses the servant of God laid on Israel in the wilderness. ## 代下24:10 众首领和百姓都欢欢喜喜地将银子送来，投入柜中，直到捐完。 2Ch 24:10 And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished. ## 代下24:11 利未人见银子多了，就把柜抬到王所派的司事面前，王的书记和大祭司的属员来，将柜倒空，仍放在原处。日日都是这样，积蓄的银子甚多。 2Ch 24:11 “And whenever the chest was brought to the king’s officers by the Levites, when they saw that there was much money in it, the king’s secretary and the officer of the chief priest would come and empty the chest and take it and return it to its place. Thus they did day after day, and collected money in abundance.” ## 代下24:12 王与耶何耶大将银子交给耶和华殿里办事的人，他们就雇了石匠、木匠，重修耶和华的殿；又雇了铁匠、铜匠，修理耶和华的殿。 2Ch 24:12 “And the king and Jehoiada gave it to those who had charge of the work of the house of the LORD, and they hired masons and carpenters to restore the house of the LORD, and also workers in iron and bronze to repair the house of the LORD.” ## 代下24:13 工人操作，渐渐修成，将神殿修造得与从前一样，而且甚是坚固。 2Ch 24:13 “So those who were engaged in the work labored, and the repairing went forward in their hands, and they restored the house of God to its proper condition and strengthened it.” ## 代下24:14 工程完了，他们就把其余的银子拿到王与耶何耶大面前，用以制造耶和华殿供奉所用的器皿和调羹，并金银的器皿。耶何耶大在世的时候，众人常在耶和华殿里献燔祭。 2Ch 24:14 “And when they had finished, they brought the rest of the money before the king and Jehoiada, and with it were made utensils for the house of the LORD, both for the service and for the burnt offerings, and dishes for incense and vessels of gold and silver. And they offered burnt offerings in the house of the LORD regularly all the days of Jehoiada.” ## 代下24:15 耶何耶大年纪老迈，日子满足而死；死的时候，年一百三十岁。 2Ch 24:15 “But Jehoiada grew old and full of days, and died. He was 130 years old at his death.” ## 代下24:16 葬在大卫城列王的坟墓里，因为他在以色列人中行善，又事奉神，修理神的殿。 2Ch 24:16 “And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, and toward God and his house.” ## 代下24:17 耶何耶大死后，犹大的众首领来朝拜王。王就听从他们。 2Ch 24:17 Now after the death of Jehoiada the princes of Judah came and paid homage to the king. Then the king listened to them. ## 代下24:18 他们离弃耶和华他们列祖神的殿，去事奉亚舍拉和偶像，因他们这罪，就有忿怒临到犹大和耶路撒冷。 2Ch 24:18 “And they abandoned the house of the LORD, the God of their fathers, and served the Asherim and the idols. And wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this guilt of theirs.” ## 代下24:19 但神仍遣先知到他们那里，引导他们归向耶和华。这先知警戒他们，他们却不肯听。 2Ch 24:19 “Yet he sent prophets among them to bring them back to the LORD. These testified against them, but they would not pay attention.” ## 代下24:20 那时，神的灵感动祭司耶何耶大的儿子撒迦利亚，他就站在上面对民说：“神如此说，你们为何干犯耶和华的诫命，以致不得亨通呢？因为你们离弃耶和华，所以他也离弃你们。” 2Ch 24:20 “Then the Spirit of God clothed Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, and he stood above the people, and said to them, “Thus says God, ‘Why do you break the commandments of the LORD, so that you cannot prosper? Because you have forsaken the LORD, he has forsaken you.’” ## 代下24:21 众民同心谋害撒迦利亚，就照王的吩咐，在耶和华殿的院内，用石头打死他。 2Ch 24:21 “But they conspired against him, and by command of the king they stoned him with stones in the court of the house of the LORD.” ## 代下24:22 这样，约阿施王不想念撒迦利亚的父亲耶何耶大向自己所施的恩，杀了他的儿子。撒迦利亚临死的时候说：“愿耶和华鉴察伸冤。” 2Ch 24:22 “Thus Joash the king did not remember the kindness that Jehoiada, Zechariah’s father, had shown him, but killed his son. And when he was dying, he said, “May the LORD see and avenge!” ## 代下24:23 满了一年，亚兰的军兵上来攻击约阿施，来到犹大和耶路撒冷，杀了民中的众首领，将所掠的财货送到大马色王那里。 2Ch 24:23 At the end of the year the army of the Syrians came up against Joash. They came to Judah and Jerusalem and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the people and sent all their spoil to the king of Damascus. ## 代下24:24 亚兰的军兵，虽来了一小队，耶和华却将大队的军兵交在他们手里，是因犹大人离弃耶和华他们列祖的神，所以藉亚兰人惩罚约阿施。 2Ch 24:24 “Though the army of the Syrians had come with few men, the LORD delivered into their hand a very great army, because Judah had forsaken the LORD, the God of their fathers. Thus they executed judgment on Joash.” ## 代下24:25 亚兰人离开约阿施的时候，他患重病，臣仆背叛他，要报祭司耶何耶大儿子流血之仇，杀他在床上，葬他在大卫城，只是不葬在列王的坟墓里。 2Ch 24:25 “When they had departed from him, leaving him severely wounded, his servants conspired against him because of the blood of the son of Jehoiada the priest, and killed him on his bed. So he died, and they buried him in the city of David, but they did not bury him in the tombs of the kings.” ## 代下24:26 背叛他的是亚扪妇人示米押的儿子撒拔和摩押妇人示米利的儿子约萨拔。 2Ch 24:26 “Those who conspired against him were Zabad the son of Shimeath the Ammonite, and Jehozabad the son of Shimrith the Moabite.” ## 代下24:27 至于他的众子和他所受的警戒，并他重修神殿的事，都写在列王的传上。他儿子亚玛谢接续他作王。 2Ch 24:27 Accounts of his sons and of the many oracles against him and of the rebuilding of the house of God are written in the Story of the Book of the Kings. And Amaziah his son reigned in his place.
