# 代下-2Ch 10 ## 代下10:1 罗波安往示剑去，因为以色列人都到了示剑，要立他作王。 2Ch 10:1 “Rehoboam went to Shechem, for all Israel had come to Shechem to make him king.” ## 代下10:2 尼八的儿子耶罗波安先前躲避所罗门王，逃往埃及，住在那里。他听见这事，就从埃及回来。 2Ch 10:2 “And as soon as Jeroboam the son of Nebat heard of it (for he was in Egypt, where he had fled from King Solomon), then Jeroboam returned from Egypt.” ## 代下10:3 以色列人打发人去请他，他就和以色列众人来见罗波安，对他说： 2Ch 10:3 “And they sent and called him. And Jeroboam and all Israel came and said to Rehoboam,” ## 代下10:4 “你父亲使我们负重轭作苦工，现在求你使我们作的苦工负的重轭轻松些，我们就事奉你。” 2Ch 10:4 “Your father made our yoke heavy. Now therefore lighten the hard service of your father and his heavy yoke on us, and we will serve you.” ## 代下10:5 罗波安对他们说：“第三日再来见我吧！”民就去了。 2Ch 10:5 “He said to them, “Come to me again in three days.” So the people went away.” ## 代下10:6 罗波安之父所罗门在世的日子，有侍立在他面前的老年人，罗波安王和他们商议，说：“你们给我出个什么主意，我好回复这民。” 2Ch 10:6 “Then King Rehoboam took counsel with the old men, who had stood before Solomon his father while he was yet alive, saying, “How do you advise me to answer this people?” ## 代下10:7 老年人对他说：“王若恩待这民，使他们喜悦，用好话回复他们，他们就永远作王的仆人。” 2Ch 10:7 “And they said to him, “If you will be good to this people and please them and speak good words to them, then they will be your servants forever.” ## 代下10:8 王却不用老年人给他出的主意，就和那些与他一同长大、在他面前侍立的少年人商议， 2Ch 10:8 But he abandoned the counsel that the old men gave him, and took counsel with the young men who had grown up with him and stood before him.” ## 代下10:9 说：“这民对我说，你父亲使我们负重轭，求你使我们轻松些。你们给我出个什么主意，我好回复他们。” 2Ch 10:9 “And he said to them, “What do you advise that we answer this people who have said to me, ‘Lighten the yoke that your father put on us’?” ## 代下10:10 那同他长大的少年人说：“这民对王说，你父亲使我们负重轭，求你使我们轻松些。王要对他们如此说：我的小拇指比我父亲的腰还粗， 2Ch 10:10 “And the young men who had grown up with him said to him, “Thus shall you speak to the people who said to you, ‘Your father made our yoke heavy, but you lighten it for us’; thus shall you say to them, ‘My little finger is thicker than my father’s thighs.” ## 代下10:11 我父亲使你们负重轭，我必使你们负更重的轭；我父亲用鞭子责打你们，我要用蝎子鞭责打你们。” 2Ch 10:11 “And now, whereas my father laid on you a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke. My father disciplined you with whips, but I will discipline you with scorpions.’” ## 代下10:12 耶罗波安和众百姓遵着罗波安王所说，你们第三日再来见我的那话，第三日他们果然来了。 2Ch 10:12 “So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day, as the king said, “Come to me again the third day.” ## 代下10:13 罗波安王用严厉的话回复他们，不用老年人所出的主意， 2Ch 10:13 “And the king answered them harshly; and forsaking the counsel of the old men,” ## 代下10:14 照着少年人所出的主意对他们说：“我父亲使你们负重轭，我必使你们负更重的轭；我父亲用鞭子责打你们，我要用蝎子鞭责打你们。” 2Ch 10:14 “King Rehoboam spoke to them according to the counsel of the young men, saying, “My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add to it. My father disciplined you with whips, but I will discipline you with scorpions.” ## 代下10:15 王不肯依从百姓；这事乃出于神，为要应验耶和华藉示罗人亚希雅对尼八儿子耶罗波安所说的话。 2Ch 10:15 “So the king did not listen to the people, for it was a turn of affairs brought about by God that the LORD might fulfill his word, which he spoke by Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.” ## 代下10:16 以色列众民见王不依从他们，就对王说：“我们与大卫有什么分儿呢？与耶西的儿子并没有关涉！以色列人哪！各回各家去吧！大卫家啊！自己顾自己吧！”于是以色列众人都回自己家里去了。 2Ch 10:16 “And when all Israel saw that the king did not listen to them, the people answered the king, “What portion have we in David? We have no inheritance in the son of Jesse. Each of you to your tents, O Israel! Look now to your own house, David.” So all Israel went to their tents.” ## 代下10:17 惟独住在犹大城邑的以色列人，罗波安仍作他们的王。 2Ch 10:17 But Rehoboam reigned over the people of Israel who lived in the cities of Judah. ## 代下10:18 罗波安王差遣掌管服苦之人的哈多兰往以色列人那里去，以色列人就用石头打死他。罗波安王急忙上车，逃回耶路撒冷去了。 2Ch 10:18 “Then King Rehoboam sent Hadoram, who was taskmaster over the forced labor, and the people of Israel stoned him to death with stones. And King Rehoboam quickly mounted his chariot to flee to Jerusalem.” ## 代下10:19 这样，以色列人背叛大卫家，直到今日。 2Ch 10:19 So Israel has been in rebellion against the house of David to this day.
