# 代上-1Ch 19 ## 代上19:1 此后，亚扪人的王拿辖死了，他儿子接续他作王。 1Ch 19:1 “Now after this Nahash the king of the Ammonites died, and his son reigned in his place.” ## 代上19:2 大卫说：“我要照哈嫩的父亲拿辖厚待我的恩典厚待哈嫩。”于是大卫差遣使者为他丧父安慰他。大卫的臣仆到了亚扪人的境内见哈嫩，要安慰他。 1Ch 19:2 “And David said, “I will deal kindly with Hanun the son of Nahash, for his father dealt kindly with me.” So David sent messengers to console him concerning his father. And David’s servants came to the land of the Ammonites to Hanun to console him.” ## 代上19:3 但亚扪人的首领对哈嫩说：“大卫差人来安慰你，你想他是尊敬你父亲吗？他的臣仆来见你不是为详察窥探，倾覆这地吗？” 1Ch 19:3 “But the princes of the Ammonites said to Hanun, “Do you think, because David has sent comforters to you, that he is honoring your father? Have not his servants come to you to search and to overthrow and to spy out the land?” ## 代上19:4 哈嫩便将大卫臣仆的胡须剃去一半，又割断他们下半截的衣服，使他们露出下体，打发他们回去。 1Ch 19:4 “So Hanun took David’s servants and shaved them and cut off their garments in the middle, at their hips, and sent them away;” ## 代上19:5 有人将臣仆所遇的事告诉大卫，他就差人去迎接他们，因为他们甚觉羞耻。告诉他们说：“可以住在耶利哥，等到胡须长起再回来。” 1Ch 19:5 “and they departed. When David was told concerning the men, he sent messengers to meet them, for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, “Remain at Jericho until your beards have grown and then return.” ## 代上19:6 亚扪人知道大卫憎恶他们，哈嫩和亚扪人就打发人，拿一千他连得银子，从美索不达米亚、亚兰玛迦、琐巴雇战车和马兵。 1Ch 19:6 “When the Ammonites saw that they had become a stench to David, Hanun and the Ammonites sent 1,000 talents of silver to hire chariots and horsemen from Mesopotamia, from Aram-maacah, and from Zobah.” ## 代上19:7 于是雇了三万二千辆战车，和玛迦王并他的军兵。他们来安营在米底巴前。亚扪人也从他们的城里出来，聚集交战。 1Ch 19:7 “They hired 32,000 chariots and the king of Maacah with his army, who came and encamped before Medeba. And the Ammonites were mustered from their cities and came to battle.” ## 代上19:8 大卫听见了，就差派约押，统带勇猛的全军出去。 1Ch 19:8 “When David heard of it, he sent Joab and all the army of the mighty men.” ## 代上19:9 亚扪人出来在城门前摆阵；所来的诸王，另在郊野摆阵。 1Ch 19:9 “And the Ammonites came out and drew up in battle array at the entrance of the city, and the kings who had come were by themselves in the open country.” ## 代上19:10 约押看见敌人在他前后摆阵，就从以色列军中挑选精兵，使他们对着亚兰人摆阵。 1Ch 19:10 “When Joab saw that the battle was set against him both in front and in the rear, he chose some of the best men of Israel and arrayed them against the Syrians.” ## 代上19:11 其余的兵交与他兄弟亚比筛，对着亚扪人摆阵。 1Ch 19:11 “The rest of his men he put in the charge of Abishai his brother, and they were arrayed against the Ammonites.” ## 代上19:12 约押对亚比筛说：“亚兰人若强过我，你就来帮助我；亚扪人若强过你，我就去帮助你。 1Ch 19:12 “And he said, “If the Syrians are too strong for me, then you shall help me, but if the Ammonites are too strong for you, then I will help you.” ## 代上19:13 我们都当刚强，为本国的民和神的城邑作大丈夫，愿耶和华凭他的意旨而行。” 1Ch 19:13 “Be strong, and let us use our strength for our people and for the cities of our God, and may the LORD do what seems good to him.” ## 代上19:14 于是约押和跟随他的人前进攻打亚兰人，亚兰人在约押面前逃跑。 1Ch 19:14 “So Joab and the people who were with him drew near before the Syrians for battle, and they fled before him.” ## 代上19:15 亚扪人见亚兰人逃跑，他们也在约押的兄弟亚比筛面前逃跑进城。约押就回耶路撒冷去了。 1Ch 19:15 “And when the Ammonites saw that the Syrians fled, they likewise fled before Abishai, Joab’s brother, and entered the city. Then Joab came to Jerusalem.” ## 代上19:16 亚兰人见自己被以色列人打败，就打发使者将大河那边的亚兰人调来，哈大利谢的将军朔法率领他们。 1Ch 19:16 “But when the Syrians saw that they had been defeated by Israel, they sent messengers and brought out the Syrians who were beyond the Euphrates, with Shophach the commander of the army of Hadadezer at their head.” ## 代上19:17 有人告诉大卫，他就聚集以色列众人过约但河，来到亚兰人那里，迎着他们摆阵。大卫既摆阵攻击亚兰人，亚兰人就与他打仗。 1Ch 19:17 “And when it was told to David, he gathered all Israel together and crossed the Jordan and came to them and drew up his forces against them. And when David set the battle in array against the Syrians, they fought with him.” ## 代上19:18 亚兰人在以色列人面前逃跑。大卫杀了亚兰七千辆战车的人，四万步兵，又杀了亚兰的将军朔法。 1Ch 19:18 “And the Syrians fled before Israel, and David killed of the Syrians the men of 7,000 chariots and 40,000 foot soldiers, and put to death also Shophach the commander of their army.” ## 代上19:19 属哈大利谢的诸王见自己被以色列人打败，就与大卫和好，归服他。于是亚兰人不敢再帮助亚扪人了。 1Ch 19:19 “And when the servants of Hadadezer saw that they had been defeated by Israel, they made peace with David and became subject to him. So the Syrians were not willing to save the Ammonites anymore.”
