# 民-Num 23 ## 民23:1 巴兰对巴勒说：“你在这里给我筑七座坛，为我预备七只公牛，七只公羊。” Num 23:1 “And Balaam said to Balak, “Build for me here seven altars, and prepare for me here seven bulls and seven rams.” ## 民23:2 巴勒照巴兰的话行了。巴勒和巴兰在每座坛上献一只公牛，一只公羊。 Num 23:2 Balak did as Balaam had said. And Balak and Balaam offered on each altar a bull and a ram. ## 民23:3 巴兰对巴勒说：“你站在你的燔祭旁边，我且往前去，或者耶和华来迎见我，他指示我什么，我必告诉你。”于是巴兰上一净光的高处。 Num 23:3 “And Balaam said to Balak, “Stand beside your burnt offering, and I will go. Perhaps the LORD will come to meet me, and whatever he shows me I will tell you.” And he went to a bare height,” ## 民23:4 神迎见巴兰；巴兰说：“我预备了七座坛，在每座坛上献了一只公牛，一只公羊。” Num 23:4 “and God met Balaam. And Balaam said to him, “I have arranged the seven altars and I have offered on each altar a bull and a ram.” ## 民23:5 耶和华将话传给巴兰。又说：“你回到巴勒那里，要如此如此说。” Num 23:5 “And the LORD put a word in Balaam’s mouth and said, “Return to Balak, and thus you shall speak.” ## 民23:6 他就回到巴勒那里，见他同摩押的使臣都站在燔祭旁边。 Num 23:6 “And he returned to him, and behold, he and all the princes of Moab were standing beside his burnt offering.” ## 民23:7 巴兰便题起诗歌说：“巴勒引我出亚兰，摩押王引我出东山，说：‘来啊！为我咒诅雅各；来啊！怒骂以色列。’ Num 23:7 “And Balaam took up his discourse and said, “From Aram Balak has brought me, the king of Moab from the eastern mountains: ‘Come, curse Jacob for me, and come, denounce Israel!’” ## 民23:8 神没有咒诅的，我焉能咒诅？耶和华没有怒骂的，我焉能怒骂？ Num 23:8 How can I curse whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce whom the LORD has not denounced? ## 民23:9 我从高峰看他，从小山望他，这是独居的民，不列在万民中。 Num 23:9 “For from the top of the crags I see him, from the hills I behold him; behold, a people dwelling alone, and not counting itself among the nations!” ## 民23:10 谁能数点雅各的尘土？谁能计算以色列的四分之一？我愿如义人之死而死，我愿如义人之终而终。” Num 23:10 “Who can count the dust of Jacob or number the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the upright, and let my end be like his!” ## 民23:11 巴勒对巴兰说：“你向我作的是什么事呢？我领你来咒诅我的仇敌，不料，你竟为他们祝福！” Num 23:11 “And Balak said to Balaam, “What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have done nothing but bless them.” ## 民23:12 他回答说：“耶和华传给我的话，我能不谨慎传说吗？” Num 23:12 “And he answered and said, “Must I not take care to speak what the LORD puts in my mouth?” ## 民23:13 巴勒说：“求你同我往别处去，在那里可以看见他们；你不能全看见，只能看见他们边界上的人；在那里要为我咒诅他们。” Num 23:13 “And Balak said to him, “Please come with me to another place, from which you may see them. You shall see only a fraction of them and shall not see them all. Then curse them for me from there.” ## 民23:14 于是领巴兰到了琐腓田，上了毗斯迦山顶，筑了七座坛；每座坛上献一只公牛，一只公羊。 Num 23:14 “And he took him to the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.” ## 民23:15 巴兰对巴勒说：“你站在这燔祭旁边，等我往那边去迎见耶和华。” Num 23:15 “Balaam said to Balak, “Stand here beside your burnt offering, while I meet the LORD over there.” ## 民23:16 耶和华临到巴兰那里，将话传给他；又说：“你回到巴勒那里，要如此如此说。” Num 23:16 “And the LORD met Balaam and put a word in his mouth and said, “Return to Balak, and thus shall you speak.” ## 民23:17 他就回到巴勒那里，见他站在燔祭旁边，摩押的使臣也和他在一处。巴勒问他说：“耶和华说了什么话呢？” Num 23:17 “And he came to him, and behold, he was standing beside his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab with him. And Balak said to him, “What has the LORD spoken?” ## 民23:18 巴兰就题诗歌说：“巴勒，你起来听；西拨的儿子，你听我言。 Num 23:18 “And Balaam took up his discourse and said, “Rise, Balak, and hear; give ear to me, O son of Zippor:” ## 民23:19 神非人，必不至说谎；也非人子，必不至后悔。他说话岂不照着行呢？他发言岂不要成就呢？ Num 23:19 “God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?” ## 民23:20 我奉命祝福，神也曾赐福，此事我不能翻转。 Num 23:20 “Behold, I received a command to bless: he has blessed, and I cannot revoke it.” ## 民23:21 他未见雅各中有罪孽；也未见以色列中有奸恶。耶和华他的神和他同在，有欢呼王的声音在他们中间。 Num 23:21 “He has not beheld misfortune in Jacob, nor has he seen trouble in Israel. The LORD their God is with them, and the shout of a king is among them.” ## 民23:22 神领他们出埃及，他们似乎有野牛之力。 Num 23:22 God brings them out of Egypt and is for them like the horns of the wild ox. ## 民23:23 断没有法术可以害雅各；也没有占卜可以害以色列。现在必有人论及雅各，就是论及以色列，说：‘神为他行了何等的大事！’ Num 23:23 “For there is no enchantment against Jacob, no divination against Israel; now it shall be said of Jacob and Israel, ‘What has God wrought!’” ## 民23:24 这民起来，仿佛母狮，挺身好象公狮，未曾吃野食，未曾喝被伤者之血，决不躺卧。” Num 23:24 “Behold, a people! As a lioness it rises up and as a lion it lifts itself; it does not lie down until it has devoured the prey and drunk the blood of the slain.” ## 民23:25 巴勒对巴兰说：“你一点不要咒诅他们，也不要为他们祝福。” Num 23:25 “And Balak said to Balaam, “Do not curse them at all, and do not bless them at all.” ## 民23:26 巴兰回答巴勒说：“我岂不是告诉你说：‘凡耶和华所说的，我必须遵行’吗？” Num 23:26 “But Balaam answered Balak, “Did I not tell you, ‘All that the LORD says, that I must do’?” ## 民23:27 巴勒对巴兰说：“来吧！我领你往别处去，或者神喜欢你在那里为我咒诅他们。” Num 23:27 “And Balak said to Balaam, “Come now, I will take you to another place. Perhaps it will please God that you may curse them for me from there.” ## 民23:28 巴勒就领巴兰到那下望旷野的毗珥山顶上。 Num 23:28 “So Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, which overlooks the desert.” ## 民23:29 巴兰对巴勒说：“你在这里为我筑七座坛，又在这里为我预备七只公牛，七只公羊。” Num 23:29 “And Balaam said to Balak, “Build for me here seven altars and prepare for me here seven bulls and seven rams.” ## 民23:30 巴勒就照巴兰的话行，在每座坛上献一只公牛，一只公羊。 Num 23:30 “And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.”
