# 创-Gen 50 ## 创50:1 约瑟伏在他父亲的面上哀哭，与他亲嘴。 Gen 50:1 Then Joseph fell on his father’s face and wept over him and kissed him. ## 创50:2 约瑟吩咐伺候他的医生，用香料薰他父亲；医生就用香料薰了以色列。 Gen 50:2 And Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father. So the physicians embalmed Israel. ## 创50:3 薰尸的常例是四十天，那四十天满了，埃及人为他哀哭了七十天。 Gen 50:3 “Forty days were required for it, for that is how many are required for embalming. And the Egyptians wept for him seventy days.” ## 创50:4 为他哀哭的日子过了，约瑟对法老家中的人说：“我若在你们眼前蒙恩，请你们报告法老说： Gen 50:4 “And when the days of weeping for him were past, Joseph spoke to the household of Pharaoh, saying, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, please speak in the ears of Pharaoh, saying,” ## 创50:5 ‘我父亲要死的时候，叫我起誓，说：你要将我葬在迦南地，在我为自己所掘的坟墓里。’现在求你让我上去葬我父亲，以后我必回来。” Gen 50:5 “My father made me swear, saying, ‘I am about to die: in my tomb that I hewed out for myself in the land of Canaan, there shall you bury me.’ Now therefore, let me please go up and bury my father. Then I will return.” ## 创50:6 法老说：“你可以上去，照着你父亲叫你起的誓，将他葬埋。” Gen 50:6 “And Pharaoh answered, “Go up, and bury your father, as he made you swear.” ## 创50:7 于是约瑟上去葬他父亲；与他一同上去的，有法老的臣仆和法老家中的长老，并埃及国的长老； Gen 50:7 “So Joseph went up to bury his father. With him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his household, and all the elders of the land of Egypt,” ## 创50:8 还有约瑟的全家和他的弟兄们，并他父亲的眷属，只有他们的妇人、孩子，和羊群、牛群，都留在歌珊地。 Gen 50:8 “as well as all the household of Joseph, his brothers, and his father’s household. Only their children, their flocks, and their herds were left in the land of Goshen.” ## 创50:9 又有车辆、马兵和他一同上去；那一帮人甚多。 Gen 50:9 And there went up with him both chariots and horsemen. It was a very great company. ## 创50:10 他们到了约但河外、亚达的禾场，就在那里大大地号咷痛哭。约瑟为他父亲哀哭了七天。 Gen 50:10 “When they came to the threshing floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan, they lamented there with a very great and grievous lamentation, and he made a mourning for his father seven days.” ## 创50:11 迦南的居民见亚达禾场上的哀哭，就说：“这是埃及人一场极大的哀哭。”因此那地方名叫亚伯麦西，是在约但河东。 Gen 50:11 “When the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning on the threshing floor of Atad, they said, “This is a grievous mourning by the Egyptians.” Therefore the place was named Abel-mizraim; it is beyond the Jordan.” ## 创50:12 雅各的儿子们，就遵着他父亲所吩咐的办了， Gen 50:12 “Thus his sons did for him as he had commanded them,” ## 创50:13 把他搬到迦南地，葬在幔利前、麦比拉田间的洞里，那洞和田是亚伯拉罕向赫人以弗仑买来为业，作坟地的。 Gen 50:13 “for his sons carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave of the field at Machpelah, to the east of Mamre, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite to possess as a burying place.” ## 创50:14 约瑟葬了他父亲以后，就和众弟兄，并一切同他上去葬他父亲的人，都回埃及去了。 Gen 50:14 “After he had buried his father, Joseph returned to Egypt with his brothers and all who had gone up with him to bury his father.” ## 创50:15 约瑟的哥哥们见父亲死了，就说：“或者约瑟怀恨我们，照着我们从前待他一切的恶，足足地报复我们。” Gen 50:15 “When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “It may be that Joseph will hate us and pay us back for all the evil that we did to him.” ## 创50:16 他们就打发人去见约瑟，说：“你父亲未死以先，吩咐说： Gen 50:16 “So they sent a message to Joseph, saying, “Your father gave this command before he died,” ## 创50:17 ‘你们要对约瑟这样说：从前你哥哥们恶待你，求你饶恕他们的过犯和罪恶。’如今求你饶恕你父亲神之仆人的过犯。”他们对约瑟说这话，约瑟就哭了。 Gen 50:17 “Say to Joseph, Please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, because they did evil to you.’ And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him.” ## 创50:18 他的哥哥们又来俯伏在他面前说：“我们是你的仆人。” Gen 50:18 “His brothers also came and fell down before him and said, “Behold, we are your servants.” ## 创50:19 约瑟对他们说：“不要害怕，我岂能代替神呢？ Gen 50:19 “But Joseph said to them, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of God?” ## 创50:20 从前你们的意思是要害我，但神的意思原是好的，要保全许多人的性命，成就今日的光景。 Gen 50:20 “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.” ## 创50:21 现在你们不要害怕，我必养活你们和你们的妇人、孩子。”于是约瑟用亲爱的话安慰他们。 Gen 50:21 “So do not fear; I will provide for you and your little ones.” Thus he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.” ## 创50:22 约瑟和他父亲的眷属，都住在埃及。约瑟活了一百一十岁。 Gen 50:22 “So Joseph remained in Egypt, he and his father’s house. Joseph lived 110 years.” ## 创50:23 约瑟得见以法莲第三代的子孙；玛拿西的孙子玛吉的儿子，也养在约瑟的膝上。 Gen 50:23 And Joseph saw Ephraim’s children of the third generation. The children also of Machir the son of Manasseh were counted as Joseph’s own. ## 创50:24 约瑟对他弟兄们说：“我要死了，但神必定看顾你们，领你们从这地上去，到他起誓所应许给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之地。” Gen 50:24 “And Joseph said to his brothers, “I am about to die, but God will visit you and bring you up out of this land to the land that he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.” ## 创50:25 约瑟叫以色列的子孙起誓，说：“神必定看顾你们，你们要把我的骸骨从这里搬上去。” Gen 50:25 “Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying, “God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here.” ## 创50:26 约瑟死了，正一百一十岁。人用香料将他薰了，把他收殓在棺材里，停在埃及。 Gen 50:26 “So Joseph died, being 110 years old. They embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.”
