# 创-Gen 33 ## 创33:1 雅各举目观看，见以扫来了，后头跟着四百人；他就把孩子们分开交给利亚、拉结和两个使女， Gen 33:1 “And Jacob lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, Esau was coming, and four hundred men with him. So he divided the children among Leah and Rachel and the two female servants.” ## 创33:2 并且叫两个使女和她们的孩子在前头，利亚和她的孩子在后头，拉结和约瑟在尽后头。 Gen 33:2 “And he put the servants with their children in front, then Leah with her children, and Rachel and Joseph last of all.” ## 创33:3 他自己在他们前头过去，一连七次俯伏在地，才就近他哥哥。 Gen 33:3 He himself went on before them, bowing himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.” ## 创33:4 以扫跑来迎接他，将他抱住，又搂着他的颈项，与他亲嘴，两个人就哭了。 Gen 33:4 But Esau ran to meet him and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept.” ## 创33:5 以扫举目看见妇人孩子，就说：“这些和你同行的是谁呢？”雅各说：“这些孩子是神施恩给你仆人的。” Gen 33:5 “And when Esau lifted up his eyes and saw the women and children, he said, “Who are these with you?” Jacob said, “The children whom God has graciously given your servant.” ## 创33:6 于是两个使女和她们的孩子前来下拜。 Gen 33:6 “Then the servants drew near, they and their children, and bowed down.” ## 创33:7 利亚和她的孩子也前来下拜；随后约瑟和拉结也前来下拜。 Gen 33:7 “Leah likewise and her children drew near and bowed down. And last Joseph and Rachel drew near, and they bowed down.” ## 创33:8 以扫说：“我所遇见的这些群畜是什么意思呢？”雅各说：“是要在我主面前蒙恩的。” Gen 33:8 “Esau said, “What do you mean by all this company that I met?” Jacob answered, “To find favor in the sight of my lord.” ## 创33:9 以扫说：“兄弟啊，我的已经够了，你的仍归你吧！” Gen 33:9 “But Esau said, “I have enough, my brother; keep what you have for yourself.” ## 创33:10 雅各说：“不然，我若在你眼前蒙恩，就求你从我手里收下这礼物，因为我见了你的面，如同见了神的面，并且你容纳了我。 Gen 33:10 “Jacob said, “No, please, if I have found favor in your sight, then accept my present from my hand. For I have seen your face, which is like seeing the face of God, and you have accepted me.” ## 创33:11 求你收下我带来给你的礼物，因为神恩待我，使我充足。”雅各再三地求他，他才收下了。 Gen 33:11 “Please accept my blessing that is brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough.” Thus he urged him, and he took it.” ## 创33:12 以扫说：“我们可以起身前往，我在你前头走。” Gen 33:12 “Then Esau said, “Let us journey on our way, and I will go ahead of you.” ## 创33:13 雅各对他说：“我主知道孩子们年幼娇嫩，牛羊也正在乳养的时候，若是催赶一天，群畜都必死了。 Gen 33:13 “But Jacob said to him, “My lord knows that the children are frail, and that the nursing flocks and herds are a care to me. If they are driven hard for one day, all the flocks will die.” ## 创33:14 求我主在仆人前头走，我要量着在我面前群畜和孩子的力量，慢慢地前行，直走到西珥我主那里。” Gen 33:14 “Let my lord pass on ahead of his servant, and I will lead on slowly, at the pace of the livestock that are ahead of me and at the pace of the children, until I come to my lord in Seir.” ## 创33:15 以扫说：“容我把跟随我的人留几个在你这里。”雅各说：“何必呢？只要在我主眼前蒙恩就是了。” Gen 33:15 “So Esau said, “Let me leave with you some of the people who are with me.” But he said, “What need is there? Let me find favor in the sight of my lord.” ## 创33:16 于是以扫当日起行，回往西珥去了。 Gen 33:16 So Esau returned that day on his way to Seir. ## 创33:17 雅各就往疏割去，在那里为自己盖造房屋，又为牲畜搭棚；因此那地方名叫疏割(就是“棚”的意思)。 Gen 33:17 “But Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built himself a house and made booths for his livestock. Therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.” ## 创33:18 雅各从巴旦亚兰回来的时候，平平安安地到了迦南地的示剑城，在城东支搭帐棚。 Gen 33:18 “And Jacob came safely to the city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, on his way from Paddan-aram, and he camped before the city.” ## 创33:19 就用一百块银子向示剑的父亲哈抹的子孙，买了支帐棚的那块地。 Gen 33:19 “And from the sons of Hamor, Shechem’s father, he bought for a hundred pieces of money the piece of land on which he had pitched his tent.” ## 创33:20 在那里筑了一座坛，起名叫伊利伊罗伊以色列(就是“神以色列神”的意思)。 Gen 33:20 There he erected an altar and called it El-Elohe-Israel.
