# 创-Gen 31 ## 创31:1 雅各听见拉班的儿子们有话说：“雅各把我们父亲所有的都夺了去，并借着我们父亲的，得了这一切的荣耀(“荣耀”或作“财”)。” Gen 31:1 “Now Jacob heard that the sons of Laban were saying, “Jacob has taken all that was our father’s, and from what was our father’s he has gained all this wealth.” ## 创31:2 雅各见拉班的气色向他不如从前了。 Gen 31:2 And Jacob saw that Laban did not regard him with favor as before. ## 创31:3 耶和华对雅各说：“你要回你祖你父之地，到你亲族那里去，我必与你同在。” Gen 31:3 “Then the LORD said to Jacob, “Return to the land of your fathers and to your kindred, and I will be with you.” ## 创31:4 雅各就打发人，叫拉结和利亚到田野羊群那里来。 Gen 31:4 So Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah into the field where his flock was ## 创31:5 对她们说：“我看你们父亲的气色向我不如从前了；但我父亲的神向来与我同在。 Gen 31:5 “and said to them, “I see that your father does not regard me with favor as he did before. But the God of my father has been with me.” ## 创31:6 你们也知道，我尽了我的力量服事你们的父亲。 Gen 31:6 “You know that I have served your father with all my strength,” ## 创31:7 你们的父亲欺哄我，十次改了我的工价；然而神不容他害我。 Gen 31:7 yet your father has cheated me and changed my wages ten times. But God did not permit him to harm me. ## 创31:8 他若说：‘有点的归你作工价，’羊群所生的都有点；他若说：‘有纹的归你作工价，’羊群所生的都有纹。 Gen 31:8 “If he said, ‘The spotted shall be your wages,’ then all the flock bore spotted; and if he said, ‘The striped shall be your wages,’ then all the flock bore striped.” ## 创31:9 这样，神把你们父亲的牲畜夺来赐给我了。 Gen 31:9 Thus God has taken away the livestock of your father and given them to me. ## 创31:10 羊配合的时候，我梦中举目一看，见跳母羊的公羊都是有纹的、有点的、有花斑的。 Gen 31:10 “In the breeding season of the flock I lifted up my eyes and saw in a dream that the goats that mated with the flock were striped, spotted, and mottled.” ## 创31:11 神的使者在那梦中呼叫我说：‘雅各。’我说：‘我在这里。’ Gen 31:11 “Then the angel of God said to me in the dream, ‘Jacob,’ and I said, ‘Here I am!’” ## 创31:12 他说：‘你举目观看，跳母羊的公羊都是有纹的、有点的、有花斑的；凡拉班向你所作的，我都看见了。 Gen 31:12 “And he said, ‘Lift up your eyes and see, all the goats that mate with the flock are striped, spotted, and mottled, for I have seen all that Laban is doing to you.” ## 创31:13 我是伯特利的神；你在那里用油浇过柱子，向我许过愿。现今你起来离开这地，回你本地去吧！’” Gen 31:13 “I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed a pillar and made a vow to me. Now arise, go out from this land and return to the land of your kindred.’” ## 创31:14 拉结和利亚回答雅各说：“在我们父亲的家里还有我们可得的分吗？还有我们的产业吗？ Gen 31:14 “Then Rachel and Leah answered and said to him, “Is there any portion or inheritance left to us in our father’s house?” ## 创31:15 我们不是被他当作外人吗？因为他卖了我们，吞了我们的价值。 Gen 31:15 “Are we not regarded by him as foreigners? For he has sold us, and he has indeed devoured our money.” ## 创31:16 神从我们父亲所夺出来的一切财物，那就是我们和我们孩子们的。现今凡神所吩咐你的，你只管去行吧！” Gen 31:16 “All the wealth that God has taken away from our father belongs to us and to our children. Now then, whatever God has said to you, do.” ## 创31:17 雅各起来，使他的儿子和妻子都骑上骆驼， Gen 31:17 So Jacob arose and set his sons and his wives on camels. ## 创31:18 又带着他在巴旦亚兰所得的一切牲畜和财物，往迦南地他父亲以撒那里去了。 Gen 31:18 “He drove away all his livestock, all his property that he had gained, the livestock in his possession that he had acquired in Paddan-aram, to go to the land of Canaan to his father Isaac.” ## 创31:19 当时拉班剪羊毛去了，拉结偷了她父亲家中的神像。 Gen 31:19 “Laban had gone to shear his sheep, and Rachel stole her father’s household gods.” ## 创31:20 雅各背着亚兰人拉班偷走了，并不告诉他， Gen 31:20 “And Jacob tricked Laban the Aramean, by not telling him that he intended to flee.” ## 创31:21 就带着所有的逃跑，他起身过大河，面向基列山行去。 Gen 31:21 “He fled with all that he had and arose and crossed the Euphrates, and set his face toward the hill country of Gilead.” ## 创31:22 到第三日，有人告诉拉班：“雅各逃跑了。” Gen 31:22 “When it was told Laban on the third day that Jacob had fled,” ## 创31:23 拉班带领他的众弟兄去追赶，追了七日，在基列山就追上了。 Gen 31:23 he took his kinsmen with him and pursued him for seven days and followed close after him into the hill country of Gilead. ## 创31:24 夜间神到亚兰人拉班那里，在梦中对他说：“你要小心！不可与雅各说好说歹。” Gen 31:24 “But God came to Laban the Aramean in a dream by night and said to him, “Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.” ## 创31:25 拉班追上雅各，雅各在山上支搭帐棚；拉班和他的众弟兄，也在基列山上支搭帐棚。 Gen 31:25 “And Laban overtook Jacob. Now Jacob had pitched his tent in the hill country, and Laban with his kinsmen pitched tents in the hill country of Gilead.” ## 创31:26 拉班对雅各说：“你作的是什么事呢？你背着我偷走了，又把我的女儿们带了去，如同用刀剑掳去的一般。 Gen 31:26 “And Laban said to Jacob, “What have you done, that you have tricked me and driven away my daughters like captives of the sword?” ## 创31:27 你为什么暗暗地逃跑，偷着走，并不告诉我，叫我可以欢乐、唱歌、击鼓、弹琴地送你回去？ Gen 31:27 “Why did you flee secretly and trick me, and did not tell me, so that I might have sent you away with mirth and songs, with tambourine and lyre?” ## 创31:28 又不容我与外孙和女儿亲嘴，你所行的真是愚昧！ Gen 31:28 And why did you not permit me to kiss my sons and my daughters farewell? Now you have done foolishly. ## 创31:29 我手中原有能力害你，只是你父亲的神昨夜对我说：‘你要小心！不可与雅各说好说歹。’ Gen 31:29 “It is in my power to do you harm. But the God of your father spoke to me last night, saying, ‘Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.’” ## 创31:30 现在你虽然想你父家，不得不去，为什么又偷了我的神像呢？” Gen 31:30 “And now you have gone away because you longed greatly for your father’s house, but why did you steal my gods?” ## 创31:31 雅各回答拉班说：“恐怕你把你的女儿从我夺去，所以我逃跑。 Gen 31:31 “Jacob answered and said to Laban, “Because I was afraid, for I thought that you would take your daughters from me by force.” ## 创31:32 至于你的神像，你在谁那里搜出来，就不容谁存活；当着我们的众弟兄，你认一认，在我这里有什么东西是你的，就拿去。”原来雅各不知道拉结偷了那些神像。 Gen 31:32 “Anyone with whom you find your gods shall not live. In the presence of our kinsmen point out what I have that is yours, and take it.” Now Jacob did not know that Rachel had stolen them.” ## 创31:33 拉班进了雅各、利亚，并两个使女的帐棚，都没有搜出来；就从利亚的帐棚出来，进了拉结的帐棚。 Gen 31:33 “So Laban went into Jacob’s tent and into Leah’s tent and into the tent of the two female servants, but he did not find them. And he went out of Leah’s tent and entered Rachel’s.” ## 创31:34 拉结已经把神像藏在骆驼的驮篓里，便坐在上头。拉班摸遍了那帐棚，并没有摸着。 Gen 31:34 “Now Rachel had taken the household gods and put them in the camel’s saddle and sat on them. Laban felt all about the tent, but did not find them.” ## 创31:35 拉结对她父亲说：“现在我身上不便，不能在你面前起来，求我主不要生气。”这样，拉班搜寻神像，竟没有搜出来。 Gen 31:35 “And she said to her father, “Let not my lord be angry that I cannot rise before you, for the way of women is upon me.” So he searched but did not find the household gods.” ## 创31:36 雅各就发怒，斥责拉班说：“我有什么过犯，有什么罪恶，你竟这样火速地追我？ Gen 31:36 “Then Jacob became angry and berated Laban. Jacob said to Laban, “What is my offense? What is my sin, that you have hotly pursued me?” ## 创31:37 你摸遍了我一切的家具，你搜出什么来呢？可以放在你我弟兄面前，叫他们在你我中间辨别辨别！ Gen 31:37 “For you have felt through all my goods; what have you found of all your household goods? Set it here before my kinsmen and your kinsmen, that they may decide between us two.” ## 创31:38 我在你家这二十年：你的母绵羊、母山羊没有掉过胎；你群中的公羊，我没有吃过； Gen 31:38 “These twenty years I have been with you. Your ewes and your female goats have not miscarried, and I have not eaten the rams of your flocks.” ## 创31:39 被野兽撕裂的，我没有带来给你，是我自己赔上；无论是白日，是黑夜，被偷去的，你都向我索要。 Gen 31:39 “What was torn by wild beasts I did not bring to you. I bore the loss of it myself. From my hand you required it, whether stolen by day or stolen by night.” ## 创31:40 我白日受尽干热，黑夜受尽寒霜，不得合眼睡着，我常是这样。 Gen 31:40 “There I was: by day the heat consumed me, and the cold by night, and my sleep fled from my eyes.” ## 创31:41 我这二十年在你家里：为你的两个女儿服事你十四年；为你的羊群服事你六年；你又十次改了我的工价。 Gen 31:41 “These twenty years I have been in your house. I served you fourteen years for your two daughters, and six years for your flock, and you have changed my wages ten times.” ## 创31:42 若不是我父亲以撒所敬畏的神，就是亚伯拉罕的神与我同在，你如今必定打发我空手而去。神看见我的苦情和我的劳碌，就在昨夜责备你。” Gen 31:42 “If the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the Fear of Isaac, had not been on my side, surely now you would have sent me away empty-handed. God saw my affliction and the labor of my hands and rebuked you last night.” ## 创31:43 拉班回答雅各说：“这女儿是我的女儿；这些孩子是我的孩子；这些羊群也是我的羊群；凡在你眼前的，都是我的。我的女儿并她们所生的孩子，我今日能向他们作什么呢？ Gen 31:43 “Then Laban answered and said to Jacob, “The daughters are my daughters, the children are my children, the flocks are my flocks, and all that you see is mine. But what can I do this day for these my daughters or for their children whom they have borne?” ## 创31:44 来吧！你我二人可以立约，作你我中间的证据。” Gen 31:44 “Come now, let us make a covenant, you and I. And let it be a witness between you and me.” ## 创31:45 雅各就拿一块石头立作柱子。 Gen 31:45 So Jacob took a stone and set it up as a pillar. ## 创31:46 又对众弟兄说：“你们堆聚石头。”他们就拿石头来堆成一堆，大家便在旁边吃喝。 Gen 31:46 “And Jacob said to his kinsmen, “Gather stones.” And they took stones and made a heap, and they ate there by the heap.” ## 创31:47 拉班称那石堆为伊迦尔撒哈杜他，雅各却称那石堆为迦累得(都是“以石堆为证”的意思)。 Gen 31:47 “Laban called it Jegar-sahadutha, but Jacob called it Galeed.” ## 创31:48 拉班说：“今日这石堆作你我中间的证据。”因此这地方名叫迦累得， Gen 31:48 “Laban said, “This heap is a witness between you and me today.” Therefore he named it Galeed,” ## 创31:49 又叫米斯巴。意思说：“我们彼此离别以后，愿耶和华在你我中间鉴察。 Gen 31:49 “and Mizpah, for he said, “The LORD watch between you and me, when we are out of one another’s sight.” ## 创31:50 你若苦待我的女儿，又在我的女儿以外另娶妻，虽没有人知道，却有神在你我中间作见证。” Gen 31:50 “If you oppress my daughters, or if you take wives besides my daughters, although no one is with us, see, God is witness between you and me.” ## 创31:51 拉班又说：“你看我在你我中间所立的这石堆和柱子， Gen 31:51 “Then Laban said to Jacob, “See this heap and the pillar, which I have set between you and me.” ## 创31:52 这石堆作证据，这柱子也作证据；我必不过这石堆去害你，你也不可过这石堆和柱子来害我。 Gen 31:52 “This heap is a witness, and the pillar is a witness, that I will not pass over this heap to you, and you will not pass over this heap and this pillar to me, to do harm.” ## 创31:53 但愿亚伯拉罕的神和拿鹤的神，就是他们父亲的神，在你我中间判断。”雅各就指着他父亲以撒所敬畏的神起誓， Gen 31:53 “The God of Abraham and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, judge between us.” So Jacob swore by the Fear of his father Isaac,” ## 创31:54 又在山上献祭，请众弟兄来吃饭。他们吃了饭，便在山上住宿。 Gen 31:54 and Jacob offered a sacrifice in the hill country and called his kinsmen to eat bread. They ate bread and spent the night in the hill country. ## 创31:55 拉班清早起来，与他外孙和女儿亲嘴，给他们祝福，回往自己的地方去了。 Gen 31:55 Early in the morning Laban arose and kissed his grandchildren and his daughters and blessed them. Then Laban departed and returned home.
