# 创-Gen 21 ## 创21:1 耶和华按着先前的话眷顾撒拉，便照他所说的给撒拉成就。 Gen 21:1 “The LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did to Sarah as he had promised.” ## 创21:2 当亚伯拉罕年老的时候，撒拉怀了孕；到神所说的日期，就给亚伯拉罕生了一个儿子。 Gen 21:2 And Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the time of which God had spoken to him. ## 创21:3 亚伯拉罕给撒拉所生的儿子起名叫以撒。 Gen 21:3 “Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore him, Isaac.” ## 创21:4 以撒生下来第八日，亚伯拉罕照着神所吩咐的，给以撒行了割礼。 Gen 21:4 “And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac when he was eight days old, as God had commanded him.” ## 创21:5 他儿子以撒生的时候，亚伯拉罕年一百岁。 Gen 21:5 Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. ## 创21:6 撒拉说：“神使我喜笑，凡听见的必与我一同喜笑。” Gen 21:6 “And Sarah said, “God has made laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh over me.” ## 创21:7 又说：“谁能预先对亚伯拉罕说：‘撒拉要乳养婴孩呢？’因为在他年老的时候，我给他生了一个儿子。” Gen 21:7 “And she said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.” ## 创21:8 孩子渐长，就断了奶。以撒断奶的日子，亚伯拉罕设摆丰盛的筵席。 Gen 21:8 And the child grew and was weaned. And Abraham made a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned. ## 创21:9 当时，撒拉看见埃及人夏甲给亚伯拉罕所生的儿子戏笑， Gen 21:9 “But Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, laughing.” ## 创21:10 就对亚伯拉罕说：“你把这使女和她儿子赶出去！因为这使女的儿子，不可与我的儿子以撒，一同承受产业。” Gen 21:10 So she said to Abraham, “Cast out this slave woman with her son, for the son of this slave woman shall not be heir with my son Isaac.” ## 创21:11 亚伯拉罕因他儿子的缘故很忧愁。 Gen 21:11 And the thing was very displeasing to Abraham on account of his son. ## 创21:12 神对亚伯拉罕说：“你不必为这童子和你的使女忧愁，凡撒拉对你说的话，你都该听从，因为从以撒生的，才要称为你的后裔。 Gen 21:12 “But God said to Abraham, “Be not displeased because of the boy and because of your slave woman. Whatever Sarah says to you, do as she tells you, for through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” ## 创21:13 至于使女的儿子，我也必使他的后裔成立一国，因为他是你所生的。” Gen 21:13 “And I will make a nation of the son of the slave woman also, because he is your offspring.” ## 创21:14 亚伯拉罕清早起来，拿饼和一皮袋水，给了夏甲，搭在她的肩上，又把孩子交给她，打发她走。夏甲就走了，在别是巴的旷野走迷了路。 Gen 21:14 So Abraham rose early in the morning and took bread and a skin of water and gave it to Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, along with the child, and sent her away. And she departed and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.” ## 创21:15 皮袋的水用尽了，夏甲就把孩子撇在小树底下。 Gen 21:15 “When the water in the skin was gone, she put the child under one of the bushes.” ## 创21:16 自己走开约有一箭之远，相对而坐，说：“我不忍见孩子死。”就相对而坐，放声大哭。 Gen 21:16 Then she went and sat down opposite him a good way off, about the distance of a bowshot, for she said, “Let me not look on the death of the child.” And as she sat opposite him, she lifted up her voice and wept.” ## 创21:17 神听见童子的声音。神的使者从天上呼叫夏甲说：“夏甲，你为何这样呢？不要害怕，神已经听见童子的声音了。 Gen 21:17 “And God heard the voice of the boy, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What troubles you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the boy where he is.” ## 创21:18 起来！把童子抱在怀中(“怀”原文作“手”)，我必使他的后裔成为大国。” Gen 21:18 “Up! Lift up the boy, and hold him fast with your hand, for I will make him into a great nation.” ## 创21:19 神使夏甲的眼睛明亮，她就看见一口水井，便去将皮袋盛满了水，给童子喝。 Gen 21:19 “Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. And she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink.” ## 创21:20 神保佑童子，他就渐长，住在旷野，成了弓箭手。 Gen 21:20 “And God was with the boy, and he grew up. He lived in the wilderness and became an expert with the bow.” ## 创21:21 他住在巴兰的旷野，他母亲从埃及地给他娶了一个妻子。 Gen 21:21 “He lived in the wilderness of Paran, and his mother took a wife for him from the land of Egypt.” ## 创21:22 当那时候，亚比米勒同他军长非各，对亚伯拉罕说：“凡你所行的事，都有神的保佑。 Gen 21:22 “At that time Abimelech and Phicol the commander of his army said to Abraham, “God is with you in all that you do.” ## 创21:23 我愿你如今在这里指着神对我起誓，不要欺负我与我的儿子并我的子孙，我怎样厚待了你，你也要照样厚待我与你所寄居这地的民。” Gen 21:23 “Now therefore swear to me here by God that you will not deal falsely with me or with my descendants or with my posterity, but as I have dealt kindly with you, so you will deal with me and with the land where you have sojourned.” ## 创21:24 亚伯拉罕说：“我情愿起誓。” Gen 21:24 “And Abraham said, “I will swear.” ## 创21:25 从前，亚比米勒的仆人霸占了一口水井，亚伯拉罕为这事指责亚比米勒。 Gen 21:25 “When Abraham reproved Abimelech about a well of water that Abimelech’s servants had seized,” ## 创21:26 亚比米勒说：“谁作这事我不知道，你也没有告诉我，今日我才听见了。” Gen 21:26 “Abimelech said, “I do not know who has done this thing; you did not tell me, and I have not heard of it until today.” ## 创21:27 亚伯拉罕把羊和牛给了亚比米勒，二人就彼此立约。 Gen 21:27 “So Abraham took sheep and oxen and gave them to Abimelech, and the two men made a covenant.” ## 创21:28 亚伯拉罕把七只母羊羔另放在一处。 Gen 21:28 Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock apart. ## 创21:29 亚比米勒问亚伯拉罕说：“你把这七只母羊羔另放在一处，是什么意思呢？” Gen 21:29 “And Abimelech said to Abraham, “What is the meaning of these seven ewe lambs that you have set apart?” ## 创21:30 他说：“你要从我手里受这七只母羊羔，作我挖这口井的证据。 Gen 21:30 “He said, “These seven ewe lambs you will take from my hand, that this may be a witness for me that I dug this well.” ## 创21:31 所以他给那地方起名叫别是巴，因为他们二人在那里起了誓(“别是巴”就是“盟誓的井”)。 Gen 21:31 “Therefore that place was called Beersheba, because there both of them swore an oath.” ## 创21:32 他们在别是巴立了约，亚比米勒就同他军长非各，起身回非利士地去了。 Gen 21:32 So they made a covenant at Beersheba. Then Abimelech and Phicol the commander of his army rose up and returned to the land of the Philistines. ## 创21:33 亚伯拉罕在别是巴栽上一棵垂丝柳树，又在那里求告耶和华永生神的名。 Gen 21:33 “Abraham planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba and called there on the name of the LORD, the Everlasting God.” ## 创21:34 亚伯拉罕在非利士人的地寄居了多日。 Gen 21:34 And Abraham sojourned many days in the land of the Philistines.
