# 创-Gen 20 ## 创20:1 亚伯拉罕从那里向南地迁去，寄居在加低斯和书珥中间的基拉耳。 Gen 20:1 From there Abraham journeyed toward the territory of the Negeb and lived between Kadesh and Shur; and he sojourned in Gerar. ## 创20:2 亚伯拉罕称他的妻撒拉为妹子，基拉耳王亚比米勒差人把撒拉取了去。 Gen 20:2 “And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.” And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and took Sarah.” ## 创20:3 但夜间神来，在梦中对亚比米勒说：“你是个死人哪！因为你取了那女人来，她原是别人的妻子。” Gen 20:3 “But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night and said to him, “Behold, you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man’s wife.” ## 创20:4 亚比米勒却还没有亲近撒拉，他说：“主啊！连有义的国你也要毁灭吗？ Gen 20:4 “Now Abimelech had not approached her. So he said, “Lord, will you kill an innocent people?” ## 创20:5 那人岂不是自己对我说：‘她是我的妹子’吗？就是女人也自己说：‘他是我的哥哥。’我作这事，是心正手洁的。” Gen 20:5 “Did he not himself say to me, ‘She is my sister’? And she herself said, ‘He is my brother.’ In the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands I have done this.” ## 创20:6 神在梦中对他说：“我知道你作这事是心中正直，我也拦阻了你，免得你得罪我，所以我不容你沾着她。 Gen 20:6 “Then God said to him in the dream, “Yes, I know that you have done this in the integrity of your heart, and it was I who kept you from sinning against me. Therefore I did not let you touch her.” ## 创20:7 现在你把这人的妻子归还他，因为他是先知，他要为你祷告，使你存活。你若不归还他，你当知道，你和你所有的人都必要死。” Gen 20:7 “Now then, return the man’s wife, for he is a prophet, so that he will pray for you, and you shall live. But if you do not return her, know that you shall surely die, you and all who are yours.” ## 创20:8 亚比米勒清早起来，召了众臣仆来，将这些事都说给他们听，他们都甚惧怕。 Gen 20:8 So Abimelech rose early in the morning and called all his servants and told them all these things. And the men were very much afraid. ## 创20:9 亚比米勒召了亚伯拉罕来，对他说：“你怎么向我这样行呢？我在什么事上得罪了你，你竟使我和我国里的人陷在大罪里！你向我行不当行的事了。” Gen 20:9 “Then Abimelech called Abraham and said to him, “What have you done to us? And how have I sinned against you, that you have brought on me and my kingdom a great sin? You have done to me things that ought not to be done.” ## 创20:10 亚比米勒又对亚伯拉罕说：“你见了什么才作这事呢？” Gen 20:10 “And Abimelech said to Abraham, “What did you see, that you did this thing?” ## 创20:11 亚伯拉罕说：“我以为这地方的人总不惧怕神，必为我妻子的缘故杀我。 Gen 20:11 “Abraham said, “I did it because I thought, There is no fear of God at all in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife.” ## 创20:12 况且她也实在是我的妹子，她与我是同父异母，后来作了我的妻子。 Gen 20:12 “Besides, she is indeed my sister, the daughter of my father though not the daughter of my mother, and she became my wife.” ## 创20:13 当神叫我离开父家，飘流在外的时候，我对她说：‘我们无论走到什么地方，你可以对人说，他是我的哥哥。这就是你待我的恩典了。’” Gen 20:13 “And when God caused me to wander from my father’s house, I said to her, ‘This is the kindness you must do me: at every place to which we come, say of me, He is my brother.’” ## 创20:14 亚比米勒把牛羊、仆婢，赐给亚伯拉罕，又把他的妻子撒拉归还他。 Gen 20:14 “Then Abimelech took sheep and oxen, and male servants and female servants, and gave them to Abraham, and returned Sarah his wife to him.” ## 创20:15 亚比米勒又说：“看哪！我的地都在你面前，你可以随意居住。” Gen 20:15 “And Abimelech said, “Behold, my land is before you; dwell where it pleases you.” ## 创20:16 又对撒拉说：“我给你哥哥一千银子，作为你在阖家人面前遮羞的(“羞”原文作“眼”)，你就在众人面前没有不是了。” Gen 20:16 “To Sarah he said, “Behold, I have given your brother a thousand pieces of silver. It is a sign of your innocence in the eyes of all who are with you, and before everyone you are vindicated.” ## 创20:17 亚伯拉罕祷告神，神就医好了亚比米勒和他的妻子，并他的众女仆，她们便能生育。 Gen 20:17 “Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, and also healed his wife and female slaves so that they bore children.” ## 创20:18 因耶和华为亚伯拉罕的妻子撒拉的缘故，已经使亚比米勒家中的妇人不能生育。 Gen 20:18 “For the LORD had closed all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife.”
