# 创-Gen 16 ## 创16:1 亚伯兰的妻子撒莱不给他生儿女。撒莱有一个使女名叫夏甲，是埃及人。 Gen 16:1 “Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, had borne him no children. She had a female Egyptian servant whose name was Hagar.” ## 创16:2 撒莱对亚伯兰说：“耶和华使我不能生育，求你和我的使女同房，或者我可以因她得孩子(“得孩子”原文作“被建立”)。”亚伯兰听从了撒莱的话。 Gen 16:2 “And Sarai said to Abram, “Behold now, the LORD has prevented me from bearing children. Go in to my servant; it may be that I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.” ## 创16:3 于是亚伯兰的妻子撒莱将使女埃及人夏甲给了丈夫为妾；那时亚伯兰在迦南已经住了十年。 Gen 16:3 “So, after Abram had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her servant, and gave her to Abram her husband as a wife.” ## 创16:4 亚伯兰与夏甲同房，夏甲就怀了孕；她见自己有孕，就小看她的主母。 Gen 16:4 “And he went in to Hagar, and she conceived. And when she saw that she had conceived, she looked with contempt on her mistress.” ## 创16:5 撒莱对亚伯兰说：“我因你受屈，我将我的使女放在你怀中，她见自己有了孕就小看我，愿耶和华在你我中间判断。” Gen 16:5 “And Sarai said to Abram, “May the wrong done to me be on you! I gave my servant to your embrace, and when she saw that she had conceived, she looked on me with contempt. May the LORD judge between you and me!” ## 创16:6 亚伯兰对撒莱说：“使女在你手下，你可以随意待她。”撒莱苦待她，她就从撒莱面前逃走了。 Gen 16:6 “But Abram said to Sarai, “Behold, your servant is in your power; do to her as you please.” Then Sarai dealt harshly with her, and she fled from her.” ## 创16:7 耶和华的使者在旷野书珥路上的水泉旁遇见她， Gen 16:7 “The angel of the LORD found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, the spring on the way to Shur.” ## 创16:8 对她说：“撒莱的使女夏甲，你从哪里来？要往哪里去？”夏甲说：“我从我的主母撒莱面前逃出来。” Gen 16:8 “And he said, “Hagar, servant of Sarai, where have you come from and where are you going?” She said, “I am fleeing from my mistress Sarai.” ## 创16:9 耶和华的使者对她说：“你回到你主母那里，服在她手下。” Gen 16:9 “The angel of the LORD said to her, “Return to your mistress and submit to her.” ## 创16:10 又说：“我必使你的后裔极其繁多，甚至不可胜数。” Gen 16:10 “The angel of the LORD also said to her, “I will surely multiply your offspring so that they cannot be numbered for multitude.” ## 创16:11 并说：“你如今怀孕要生一个儿子，可以给他起名叫以实玛利，因为耶和华听见了你的苦情。(“以实玛利”就是“神听见”的意思) Gen 16:11 “And the angel of the LORD said to her, “Behold, you are pregnant and shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, because the LORD has listened to your affliction.” ## 创16:12 他为人必象野驴。他的手要攻打人，人的手也要攻打他，他必住在众弟兄的东边。” Gen 16:12 “He shall be a wild donkey of a man, his hand against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen.” ## 创16:13 夏甲就称那对她说话的耶和华为看顾人的神。因而说：“在这里我也看见那看顾我的吗？” Gen 16:13 “So she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are a God of seeing,” for she said, “Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.” ## 创16:14 所以这井名叫庇耳拉海莱。这井正在加低斯和巴列中间。 Gen 16:14 Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; it lies between Kadesh and Bered. ## 创16:15 后来夏甲给亚伯兰生了一个儿子，亚伯兰给他起名叫以实玛利。 Gen 16:15 “And Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram called the name of his son, whom Hagar bore, Ishmael.” ## 创16:16 夏甲给亚伯兰生以实玛利的时候，亚伯兰年八十六岁。 Gen 16:16 Abram was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.
